Explanation for delayed registration for Overseas nurses from Saudi :

With regard to the query made about my service before registration:
in India, after the course completion the nurses are allowed to submit their application for registration to the respective nursing council, and even before the official registration arrives, the nurses have to work under minimal supervision of the senior staff members (only in the initial stages) for a certain period of time, but enjoying full salary and other benefits from the hospital. This specific tenure is called “bond” in many medical colleges and hospitals in India (in my hospital it was 1 year at .....Hospital, K..........., Kerala). It is a common and accepted practice here in India, for which the course completion certificate was sufficient.
Likewise, when I was recruited to the Ministry of Health (MOH) hospital at................ Hospital,. Place....., Saudi Arabia, the practice was similar. The date for PROMETRIC examination is allotted as per availability, and before which the nurses are allowed to commence their practice in the hospital. The registration to the Saudi Commission of Health Specialties arrives only after a few months after completing the PROMETRIC examination. Before such a registration comes, the nurses are permitted to work with their full remuneration and other benefits with the consent of the government and hospital authorities.

Hi..I got one query on my first month of processing..Ccps varification is pending from nursing council…I have contacted the nursing council through an agency and they did the verification within one week..But,I have got mail from nmbi again after one month which said that my ccps varifiacation is still pending..From the date of query till now my application status is “awaiting external validation “What does it means?when I can get DL?

Sometimes they may ask for proof of your initial registration. It depends. You have done your nursing course in India. So they could ask you for a primary registration in India.

Please Check your email for any queries. If there is any, try to sort them out. If nothing you will have to wait. You can contact Nmbi through overseas registration email and check for the status of your application. But, there is nothing much to do, than waiting.

For Karnataka work experience, from which nursing council I have to obtain a good standing certificate and foreign verification.

You could get good standing only from the state council where you have worked. If you can renew Karnataka registration, that would be great. Anyways, I don’t think it would be a problem. Get your overseas verification from Kerala nursing council. Hopefully that should be enough. It all depends on your assessor.

Yes.. that would be the outcome of a successful NMBI processing for overseas nurses. DL is an eligibility for candidates to proceed to the next step. As of now, all overseas nurses need to successfully complete either aptitude test or adaptation, to register to NMBI and get their PIN number. I don’t think there is any other direct registration options than this.

I don’t think there would be any problem. It all depends on the employer and the respective occupational health department. Occ health will go through all the documents and vaccination/treatment details and advise on next steps.

The best thing to do in that case is to start working now. After 6 months of experience, you can start your NMBI processing and, continue your experience until you get your DL.
Overseas verification and good standing are mandatory.

Like I said earlier, EAR is one of the final steps in NMBI assessment. Once completed,DL could be issued in few days or weeks or up to 90 days as per NMBI . Honestly, nobody would be able to tell you a timeframe. If there are no queries, hopefully it would come in few days or in a couple of weeks.

Education Assessment required " is the last stage of Assessment. Next step the status will be updated as "Education assessment complete" and later the status will update as "compensation measured required".( At this stage you will receive DL)

If you have one valid and active registration in India ( in your case either Karnataka or delhi), during the entire processing, that would be enough..
which one did you submit to NMBI? whichever you are submitting for verification and good standing, should be valid. So if you have submitted Karnataka registration for NMBI, make sure that it has sufficient validity.
