    I think this was a wonderful intro to rare plants of Texas, thank you for posting and I really appreciate the effort and insight you bring.
    As far as iNaturalist, in general I agree that poaching can be a problem but I think that is missing the point of iNaturalist, it should be primarily used for common plants and is a wonderful tool for tracking invasive species spread and has countless uses as far as plant conservation and science in general. I will agree, it is not a good tool for rare species and more care should be taken on the site overall to prevent the issues you've stated.

    Thank you for posting. I’m an amateur gardener and have been in San Antonio for over a year. Your book “wildflowers of Texas” is excellent and has inspired me to plant more Texas natives.

    Wow! Please keep up all the hard work! Did not know we had so many plants that were so rare very informal presentation.

      I agree, also when it does, my computer gave me a warning that is not a secure site to be on.
