- We've all seen him on Discovery's Street Outlaws, sitting in the #1 spot on "The List" currently. Despite being familiar with other racers such as Murder Nova, The Mistress, John Doe, and Doc in the Monte, NO ONE could prepare themselves for the questionable track conditions mixed with 2,000+ hp cars. It was a pleasure to cover the event as well as film the popular street racers! Congrats Big Chief! Don't spend that 20g's all in one place!

the crow gets beat on the launch alot by doc and murder nova, but always comes back hard on the top end, even for only 1/8th.
+TheSamplebridge Well, the turbos kick in on higher RPM's so maybe that's why. I guess.
+TheSamplebridge Turbo cars will always get beat of the line. They have a faze that people call turbo lag. Most drag cars get all their power right away an then start to lose it down track. Turbo cars are the oppisite. Their power starts coming along down drag.
Kevin Stamey murder nova and alot of other cars that run turbos have beat him off the line. nova(turbo car) has beaten doc(nitro) off the line on many occasions.
+TheSamplebridge can i ask why they run on 1/8mile? seems silly to me but other than avoiding higher speeds and higher danger i dont see a reason
omar fuller im assuming that its just easier to build a car that runs 1/8 miles than 1/4s with gearing and everything. and a quarter mile is alot of extra time to have those straight piped turbo cars blast out noise. basicly an air raid siren that tells cops your doing illegal shit.

I've always liked Big Chief. He's always a straight up, no bullshit dude. What you see is what you get kind of guy. He isn't shy about the majority of his setup and he stays humble even though he's a celebrity now. Good dude, good racer, amazing car.

The R35 does ok in the 1/8 mile but definitely not its strong point. Fastest 1/8 in a R35 is actually held by the ETS in their record pass. That being said the AMS and ETS cars are true street cars and up for daily driver duty if one wants. To call the cars on street outlaws street cars is an exaggeration when you know the details of those builds.
Yeah but I'm really not sure Chief can beat Kye. The Chief vs AMS would be awesome tho.

I have been attending the races at Thunder Valley (near OKC) this year. There is some Hella cool cars there racing. I have checked out the Crow and Murder nova. Gotta give it up to them guys, its a lot of work. There results prove it.

I love the sound of these vehicle I have very bad vision impairment. Which kind of card is big chief driving. Here and who with his opponent. What kind of car are they driving model year make. And I love it when they do the intro him. Tell you. What kind of engine is in the car. And sometimes the make and model and year. But this wish there was a commentator. Let you know what is going on but. Still sounds great thanks
