So welcome back to Episode 18 of my Worst Rappers in the Game? series, and today we will be reviewing the music of Scarlxrd. He has released multiple music videos and songs on RUclips that have accumulated millions of views, such as Heart Attack, 6 Feet, Bands, Lies Yxu Tell, King, Scar. and The Purge.
To get an impression of his music, I listened to his self titled album, Chaxsthexry, and Rxse. So is Scarlxrd one of the Worst Rappers in the Game? Lets find out!

Why are you reviewing metal type music if you don't like it. Like it or not he's crossing a gap between metal and rap which hasn't really been done before. Only a few metal or rock bands have tried rap and it didn't really work. But scarlxrd is an example of someone who listens to metal and writes it in rap form. If you don't like that type of music don't review it then😂 because your opinion would be biased.

The nu-metal wave is a genre which did have good bands while at the same time we had a bunch of bands that were just bad. Even still to this day, the bad aspects of nu-metal and rap-rock haven’t aged well. Scarlxrd, Ghostemane, and Bonecrew are some good examples of a rap or metal act blending both in a good way and I think it’s with Trap music, not to mention for some rappers, influence from underground metal genres such as black metal, death metal, grindcore, and slam.

I love the way he dresses and his music. I find his go at screemo rap great and I'm a very quiet and calm dude so typically my mind tends to be louder than most (Imo) and Scars music just locks with me. I respect the video tho, the time put into it and your opinion. Thumbs up!

Yes it's part of his music but it's also partially considered to be in its own genre apart from rap. So why should it be a factor when talking about him as a rapper?

I listen to it pretty regularly and I listen to a lot of rap. They are very different.

CDTVProductions yeah another great episode, I knew you wouldn’t like the trap metal style and screaming. Not everyone can get past that but I fuck with it
all the reasons you don't like his screaming tracks are exactly why I love them, they are intense and very unique, scarlxrd is a fan of both rap and metal along with various other genres, so for people like myself who also enjoy music that throws in a bit of everything it has an appeal that no average rapper or metal band can really match.

coming back to this 7 years later as a diehard Scar fan, i will say that he’s improved a HELL of a lot more. his screams actually sound a lot more controlled and the distortion is less common. his music is still very much loud, but in a better way than tracks like DeathPunch or anything off of Lxrdszn
