Proof that the OEMs are ripping off new truck buyers. At current prices no one should have to beef up a heavy duty truck suspension to stabilize a load within GVWR specs. Thank you for sharing this story.
I went through the same thing. For me logic sense I removed no original equipment of the suspension. I added airbags, what did it do for me? It’s stiffened up the suspension even more for handling heavier loads. I then had to change to Fox shocks which then made a difference on a smoother ride. A little better don’t expect the world.
This proove that the stock suspension is not doing the job as it should even without a load. For the price of the truck, it's disappointing and we didn't get what we are paying for. In my opinion these air lifts are really essentials.
My 2022 Ram has a smooth ride with coil springs vs leaf springs. I don't have the air bags but I heard that it makes little difference in my truck. However, I'm sure this will make a significant change in your ride quality.
So I have a 2021 F450 which I tow a 18K fifth wheel. The concern that has me looking at air bags is the bounce I get going over bridges and what not. The bounce is defiantly coming from the back of the truck. Do you notice a difference before an after as far as rear bounce when towing?
Your air lifts take the weight off your stock springs and this takes awhile your stability. If you notice the position location of where the air bags were installed? They are inside of your springs removing the stability of your stock springs be careful taking turns the air bags air will shift and you’ll be loosing STABILITY on turns , be careful I found them to be a waist of 1,800.00 dollar
If a product makes a big difference in the comfort, operation or safety of my vehicle, I have no problem putting a sticker on my car. However the sticker will only go on AFTER the product proves it's worth and I will install the sticker where I want. One thing I won't do is put the sticker on paint. It will go on glass.
@@uta667563 I have the air lift air bags on my truck and sumo spring’s bump stops and they are working great just won’t advertise for them. And if I do put a sticker on it will be on glass.
I once got warned by a D.O.T. officer about altering vehicle suspensions. He stated 《you are messing with the manufactures vehicle rating. In the event you are envolved in an accident, it goes to court and the attorney for the opposition finds out you modified the vehicle suspension you will more than likely wind up losing a very costly lawsuit.》

For sure your comment is spot on. Also, how about tires suited for off road, not the junk they put on.
If you want to further improve your ride replace your stock shocks with Bilstein shocks

You do get what you pay for you just have to pay more .

I wonder if this system is really better than my factory installed system? It may cost a little less, but is it better with less driver interface?

Is your truck a long bed or regular bed? And we can’t find a truck for nothing. Where did you finally get one? Love your channel and you guys.
Are you allowed to share information about total cost including installation? That would be nice to know for a cost vs benefit analysis.
About $400-500 for the kit. Couple hundred for installation

The one thing I don’t do is to advertise for a company unless they pay me to do so. No sticker’s on my vehicle.

My whole take on this is if you had a 2021 chevy 2500 HD you would have not needed this lol
Nick can you expound on that? How are suspensions different between makes?
@amydelpiere9315 lol, I have a 2500. Nick is full of s___

With a F250, why would you do 7500's?? Your pin weight with F250 can't be more the 3000lbs. If over 2500. So why not 5000
You can hear the difference in you talking voice.
