Wow Kate, I guess I will have to stop complaining when it reaches 32 Degrees Fahrenheit in Texas. We don’t really have anything for combating the Ice on the Roads here because it’s so rare. I would have been scared to death on those Roads. We had Snow actually stick a couple of Years ago down around Houston, and there were almost 2500 Accidents per Hour. No one knows how to drive in it. It’s so Rare. Loved the Video. You guys are Crazy.👍❤️

Respect riding in them temperatures without heated grips I would of definitely wired the heated gear before I set off 😂

I can't believe my eyes. I thought I was the only nutbar who rides in snow and ice. I live in Denver and I get the best looks from people in the winter. Especially when I wear my cowboy boots and cutoffs.
Crazy as a box of frogs!! although you rode right through my old stomping ground (MK) which was nice to see.
This here is the living proof of that bikes can be riden throughout the entire year if you just go out and ride responsibly

A shame the bikes didn't have heated grips or seats.
I felt cold just watching this...I would likely struggle to stay focused if not warm enough & would be apprehensive on summer tyres.

These bikes are a centre stand away from me buying one.
It's something I use constantly and it's a weird omission that you can't even fit an aftermarket one to these.

Totally agree about barmouth bridge have been doing it for years including when there was a tariff, you definitely feel like your breaking the law !

You guys are awesome, so much respect for you embarking on this trip in those horrendous cold conditions, I will be really interested to see how the GT build quality holds up with all that salt etc, I have recently bought one of these and it still urks me that no heated grips as standard (although I know stuff needs to be built to a price), I ordered grips as an option and need to get them fitted by the dealer at the 1st service, all in all loved the vid, very informative and entertaining, looking forward to the next part 2

I use my Head ski gloves when extremely cold and they work like a charm

it's not about being brave, it's under all the criticism how you put yourself in danger and other road users I call this immaturity. glad at the same time that you managed the trip. be careful you are young and will have many fun miles ahead of you.

I hope you realise that it can be colder and heavier snow in Germany compared to the UK. Just saying as I sit here in Queensland sunshine at 36C with no snow in sight. 🤣🤣

Much respect for the all-weather riding 👍👍. I rode my old gsxr in the Canadian snow years ago. Wasn't as horrible as I expected but my boss sent me home when it got really heavy. Would love to try it again with a more appropriate bike and tires.

I went out in the snow once on my CB600 Hornet, although i really enjoyed it, it was the worst mistakes ive ever made, not because i cam off, but a month later my newish motorbike was a rust heap, corrosion was everywhere, and got that bad even the header bolts had rusted solid, next time its definitely a wash straight after

M-A-D mad only winter snow riding i did on my DT175 Yamaha which was fun and close to home to be doing this on Large heavyweights is bonkers but i did enjoy it ❄️❄️

I can’t believe the press bikes didn’t have heated grips, you only miss them when you don’t have them, you just have to be so smooth when it’s really cold.
Yeah we drive also in ice and snow. Bud we have done York - B-ham and Manchester . Only this time not tent we book some in to sleep. This oke however never take so heavy CC on this lol. i stay by the 125CC - 300CC :P
