I'm sticking to Religious dietary laws in Chinese New Year. I believed that all animals should not be eaten in the Chinese new year. I grew up in Buddhism. Buddhism forbade eating meat on Chinese New Year. I'm from hong kong. I don't understand why Catholics, Communism, Mormons, and Christians eat meat in the Chinese new year. Except, Judaism, Hindus, and Muslims - They don't eat in the Chinese new year. When I see Dubai and Mumbai. The city is rapidly built because of Islam & the Hindu faith. When people eat meat. they might see the virus.
I didn't know we aren't supposed to eat meat of the animals. I will observe this tomorrow since it is too late today. Thank you for spreading the word. As a catholic, we will be starting lent soon and we aren't suppose to eat meat on Ash Wednesday and Fridays until Easter (technically, we can eat fish but I personally consider that meat.)
