    This album is when the boys went commercial,I truly wish they would have stuck to the political side of their talent like signing off and present arms,am I on my own I ask any serious UB40 fans

      U obviously don't understand why they did this album

    • @colinmumford267
      @colinmumford267 8 месяцев назад +1

      Ur not on your own but what true ub40 fans understand is why they done the labour of love albums , the clue is in the album titles , all these songs were the band members favourites tracks rock steady ska reggae its why they picked up instruments and formed the band without these songs there would never of been the albums before hand signing off present arms Geoffrey Morgan, UB40 wanted to move forward become the biggest selling reggae band of all time spread the love of reggae ska rock steady to a world wide audience, which they achieved and will continue to do so I was a kid I'm the 80s listening to ub40 without them and these albums I would never of known rock steady reggae and ska they done 3 labour of love albums the rest was there own music if they stuck to political songs they would of disappeared so with these albums they cemented a legacy of reggae to live on and tbh they made these cover versions there own and I for one am made up they did embrace all what they achieved not just one section of a catalogue

      What’s a true UB40 fan? Im 48 and been listening to this band since I was 10… every song represents a good family, childhood, friendship, heartbreaks, towns and countries memories for me and luckily was able to see them live about 25 years ago. My life is a UB40 soundtrack. ❤UB40 from Colombia 🇨🇴 ✌🏻

      Their music had influence on the people back then. So much conflict, they reached a lot of people.
      Never cared about lyrics or personal doings just the music itself.

      Yep. They have always loved our music 🎶 it does something to them when it's their own people performing it. Love UB40 though and went to their concert last night (St.Thomas USVI 🇻🇮❤). They performed this and other classics. Was awesome. Of course many Caucasians supported.
