- Open the scanner unit.
- Press the top cover open button.
- Open the top cover.
- Slide the blue toner release collar fully towards the right of the cartridge.
- Lift the right end of the cartridge.
- Move the cartridge to the right and remove the cartridge from the printer.
- To reinstall the cartridge, Insert the left end of the cartridge into the drum unit.
- Insert the right end of the cartridge down onto the drum unit.
- Press down on the cartridge to ensure it's firmly seated.
- slide the blue collar fully towards the left.
- Wipe the LEDs with a soft cloth.
- Close the top cover.
- Close the scanner unit.
