A kick slide can be learned, looks to me like he wasnt even trying to kick out off the snap in pass sets. Maybe it was coached by Kansas O-line cocah like that, if not maybe its just a habit he'll need to kick lol. He seems plenty athletic enough to improve that aspect. I wonder if he's already going to be an upgrade at swing tackle over Jaylon Moore. I woulf love to see Puni at Center though since that the most important interior position and Ive heard he's got the above the shoulders hardware for it. Niners O-line depth amd pass blocking has improved with Puni and thats the most important thing.
I be wanting us a uce in that oline like Mike iupati now we got big uce puni hope he will come through for us but anyways I love this pick I believe big uce will make that roster let's goooo
@@dattind2173you can’t be proud somebody the same race as you made it on to your football team? It’s a small race . It’s very rare that it happens. Strange thing to mad about
I am skeptical big body. I think the dude has a lot to grow as far as speed as and strength. You mention it when you review anyone else’s film especially this classes how will it translate to the next level. Work in progress but all the natural gifts you need as an interior guy. Ok footwork I need to see more film for sure no disrespect to puni I do believe he can be great, possibly better than burford or joe. Hopefully he can make the big step and be that dog
@ramonalejandrosuare the window for winning while Purdy is on a rookie deal closes after this year. If there is no title after this year it will be near impossible. That's why improving the o line now was so important. Lost opportunity
@@rolandzamora4040 You'll still need to supply him with cost-effective receiving and OL options after he signs the new contract extension, especially because he will be assuming a greater percentage of the cap space. Deebo, Jennings, Feliciano and Banks will be gone sooner than later. That's an actual problem that needed to be solved sooner rather than later, so I don't buy your bottom-line analysis only ending this year.
Love Brad’s film breakdown. Can tell he’s coached a lot OL. “Look for work” If we had that last year, we’d have SB
I like the fact that he can play any position on the line. Very versatile.
Thank you for the analysis Brad 👍🏼
Great film breakdown Brad

I am right there with you. I have been wanting a uso or toko on that OL for a while.

Punay 😂
Brad ... Do you think the 49ers did a disservice to McKivitz by not drafting a real RT somewhere along the way to kick him inside?
Puni shment..
Bottom line...he's a late third round pick. No reason to believe he's going to be a huge help this year
That's not the bottom line. We also draft for the long-term as well. That's how to build and rebuild a dominant OL, over the long-term.

@@rolandzamora4040 as long as Shanahan and Purdy are together they will have one of the better offenses in the league, regardless of Brock's contract.
@dattind2173 it's naive to overlook the reality that the new Purdy contract will negatively effect the roster
Puni is banks replacement
Banks is not the problem
Worst footwork I have seen on a prospect 100 % interior
After the comment, wondering if this is your first time watching football
Not excited about this pick AT ALL
