Is decorating a folio your nemesis?? Let the PAPER do the work!
Maymay shows us how create a 3 page folio with some really fun elements with designer paper!
So gather up those supplies and let's create!
~~Measurements~~
You will start with (3) pieces of pattern/decorative cardstock cut to 8.50" x 11"
Cover:
(1) piece that is 8.50" x 11" score on the 11" side at 4.50" and 5"
Back:
(1) piece that is 8.50" x 11" score on the 11" side at 3" ~~ 9"~~ 9.25" and 10.75
Book Fold :
(1) piece that is 8.50" x 10.50" score on the 10.50" side at 4.50" and 5"
Book Fold Strap:
(1) piece that is 1" x 8.50" score at 3.50" and 3 .5/8" you will need to trim the length to fit
Waterfall:
(8) pieces that are 4.50" (t) x 5.75" (w) score at .50"
Waterfall Strap:
(1) piece that is 1" x length needed... optional scoring at 4" and 4 .125" we decided that we did not need the score but you may opt to use it
Angle Pocket:
(1) 4" (w) x 3.50" (t) see the video for cutting

Such a beautiful folio! Thank you for being so complete in your directions for putting it together. I appreciate it so much. I've made a few of the folios and really like doing them. Twice I have put something on the front, forgetting that the flap would cover part of it. I just put the flap inside and put velcro or magnets inside instead of on top. It still works that way and the front I had added was saved. Anyway, I thought I would share that in case someone else had that problem. Thank you to all of your staff and to you and Vinnie for everything you do!

Great idea to use these big images - which are sometimes difficult to handle - for the outside of a folio or album !!!
I often like to leave my magnets uncovered, they look like shiny jewelry and are pretty as is.
I made this folio for a friend. Her grandson is getting married so I made it so she could put some pictures in it for them and then give it to them. It turned out so pretty. I just love it. Don’t know to take a picture of it or I would.

hi, I have just watched you make an AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL folio, I am so pleased you have listed the items required as I am off to my craftroom to organise the supplies. I have one question please, what is the size of your magnets, I have not found any 'tiny' magnets in New Zealand though I may be looking for the wrong thing - I thought if I had the 'size' it may help me to find some. Last time I bought some I think I could have lifted an elephant with them they were so big ha ha. one of my daughters and her husband run a BackPackers and have people from all over the world stay and I thought that if I made one of these a traveller may like it to show their travels. Also I have a daughter who is about to move to England, she is a nurse and makes lots of things for the children in the hospital, she also does a bible journal for herself as she studies. I am so pleased that I found your site and look forward to making lots of your creations. Sorry for writing a book - look forward to getting the right size magnets. blessings to you - Madge
