i used to do a lot of Japan FI with the 2 castles team card, the daimyos cards and the sohei card, sometimes when gold was right i would send 10 hatamoto (4500 gold) and it was a lot of fun for me as the sohei card is like 20 sohei i think? for 1000 gold and costs no pop plus you can send it twice
The ammount of lame in this game, definetely devs have to do something about that mobile cav, barracks, tower, inspiring flag, artillery foundry, all in one? The way they can spawn units in your base like is nothing, makes me think of removing the Damyio unit from the game.

actually it was 29 sohei so i would sneak a daimyo behind enemy's base and pop 58 sohei then siege their city down haha
