But I don't want Tencent to buy or even merge with Ubisoft, because boosting Tencent might be a big problem for Indian gaming industry becuase of its past controversies in India. You are absolutely right when you said that Ubisoft is one of the few studios out there who are able to give a mix fiction with history and present it beautifully. But I just fail to understand that how can Ubisoft make such blunders while making shadows? They did so good with origins and odyssey. Valhalla was not that great but still it is not even comparable to what they have done with Shadows. I played Origins just 2 months ago only and I was shocked to hear that the world building and the representation of the Egyptian culture was so good that actual Historians have used to game for their research purposes (something like that). You can tell they did really well in terms of representation of ancient Egypt followed by Greece in Odyssey. What the hell went wrong during shadows?

I guess Prince of Persia : The Lost Crown was a game from Ubisoft i enjoyed after a longgggg time. and while not the best, i feel Assassin's Creed Mirage was a step in the right direction. If "Shadows" follows that path, i think it could be their redemption arc. They really need to reevaluate their strategy though coz the ice is really thin at this point.

tbh, ppl were excited for xdefiant because at that time, the mainline cod was mw22, which has many issues. most of them got fixed with mw3, and xdefiant had only one unique thing, no SBMM. due to which, it failed. personally i didnt liked the gameplay mechanics of the game, instead i played the finals and it was a fun experience

tbh, ppl were excited for xdefiant because at that time, the mainline cod was mw22, which has many issues.
most of them got fixed with mw3, and xdefiant had only one unique thing, no SBMM.
due to which, it failed.

AC Syndicate is my first AC game. Loved it. It was smooth and refined. Meanwhile my second AC game AC unity was more of a mixed experience.
If I buy a game and then I don't own that game, and the publisher company can remove that game any time from my library, then what's the reason that I shouldn't go for piracy. Like a good game costs in thousands and then there's always a fear that someday they're gonna delete that game automatically even if I wanted to keep that game and wanted to play whenever I want. It's the reason I stopped building my steam library and recently only bought some Indian games - kamla, fears to fathom, Raji and the place on the hill.

there are tsome things i want to clear out 1st the reason gameres are mad on ubisoft is ot alone the black sumrai reason, but they tried to buy people to alter their history, not only that they are pushing in lgbtq stuff forcefully in the game which destroyed the storyline that the original script had and was much better because that sudden diversion in story created a confusion in the games development. 2nd they are hiring inexpreienced devs mainly from the female and lgbtq sector just to show that they have more female employee and trans people working with them as well, insted of hiring people on the basis of talent and experience, 3rd the ogs didnt left atleast not all of them, the ones who left did becase they didnt had any creative freedom left, also those who were fired were fired because ubisoft wanted to hire more women and trans people into the studio, and the most stupid choice u could make is fire the experienced devs for some inexperienced ones. 4th they are taking away the freedom from gamers to enjoy the game insted we are pushed down all those lgbtq stuff forcefully down our throat
