Sketch up is simple and only for drawing. Autocad is more into technical purpose, where your drawing can be exported to other software (such as Esteem, Lusas, etc) to be processed or analysed, or you can print/save it as a drawing plan.
hey, have a problem with AutoCAD 3D Modeling Basic Tutorial Video for Beginner - 14... around min. 09:40, i tried to create the rectangle, i used the right side for starting working on this; it keeps me taking a few spaces right beside the right side... cn u help me out with this. thks. btw, your videos r really helping me a lot...
how do you get your 'osnaps' to work square to 3d grid on this, i am having issues when I try to copy edge and it goes off in a random direction not true to grid. Thanks
It's free only if you belong to education institution, where you register as an instructor or a student and they'll allow you to download the student version (will require you to have your college's domain as email, eg: name @ xyzuniversity . com). Otherwise, you need to purchase the licence. But if you just use it for personal use and not for commercialize design (where people won't check the legality of your software), you can just get the pirated version from torrent or from computer shop

How do i create a hole in AutoCad 2000, there's no pushpull command there and the extrude just get's it outsite..please help
