- welcome back to the channel. Finally, we get to take a loom at one of the most recently related shadow pokemon, Shadow Toxicroat in the open ultra league.
This was a huge investment posting 600k, so of course, the obvious question is, was it worth it? Toxicroat shares a lot of similarities with the newly released Annihilape. it's a fighter that beats other fighters due to it sub poison typing. Much like the angry ape, it also has shadow balls that can help cover its weakness to ghos and types.
Not only us it able to beat the other fighter it og course can beat them ever annoying tanks like regi guzzlord and zgredent Toxicroat also has access to mud bomb meaning it has very good match ups against other posion types which have rose in popularity.
team Partners today are going to be 2 things to cover our double weakness to psychic. First, we have channel Favourite, the big thick boy Mr snorlax and in the closer position, we have Drifblim.
Drifblim now with access to mystical fire can be an absolute misnter with an energy lead or shield advantage. buckle up and enjoy the show.

Capped out at like 2660 during catch cup for a season high but great league open is to many choices to climb I always get fucked unless it's a limited Metta

I have one in both leagues but I had plenty of Dust and I dumped about 17 k coins on the event and built my shadow gengar. Man these new shadows are fun😊

I've been wanting to build my Shiny costume Toxicroak for UL for a while. I have the resources and I think this video is inspiring me to do it Jamie haha. I know it's not shadow but I legitimately like Toxicroak a lot and been wanting one for seasons. I almost did it because of the shadow ball update. I think imma do it. I was kind of thinking about waiting till the new season starts to build anything, but I'm pretty sure imma do it regardless.

Toxi certainly has a very good role in this meta.
It's lack of bulk is an issue just need to make sure you have a couple of big boys to back it up

I just got the xl candies for mine. I got a mediocre shadow or a rank 2 non shadow i can power up. I waited cause im not sure what to do. But ive been running all shadows as well after seeing your videos. Havent seen anyone use ul croak though to see how it runs
Once you get that shadow bug it's hard to go back to the normal mon.
