The Greenscreen Kid trend is a style of RUclips that is, basically, just content theft. What these greenscreen kids do is they'll take a popular short, like a MRBEAST short, and greenscreen their face onto the video, barely adding any reaction what so ever. Fun fact: I've saw a few greenscreen kids on my YT short just a while ago. Whenever people tries to call them out, they all response with the same reply which is the “😈” emoji. They think they're in some dangerous and badass cult but in reality, they just steals content. There's no hope anymore. Trying to stop them is like talking to a wall of brick. Because they dont understand the seriousness of this. Like literally I just saw a green screen kids that reponse to people who called him out with “oh its just an content” and I saw how many views and like they gained more than the original video that they “reacted”.
Yeah they could get sued for copyright issues but the youtubers just decide to not press charges

To delete green screen kids from your content, you just need to (i forgot what word this is but it means "not allow" ) remix option from your videos.

as someone with a prominently shorts channel, i know this, video editing is difficult, in the start i reposted some memes, then i made some series, then as a joke i made a discord memes compilation short, the same day i made another short which i poured my heart and soul into. the discord memes short got over 4k, and the higher quality short got 26 views. now im luckily starting to plan longform original content, ive atempted it before making aviation vids and it flopped, so i think soon ill do long form when i get more experienced in editing and such. thanks for listening to my rant

RUclips has been by dream since like 2015, along with game design, and I can confirm, unless you make a video that either happens to get clicks or is on a popular topic (cough cough skibidi toilet and garren of banban) you will not get as many clicks as shorts. A short I made with me rating my art got more views than all my other videos that I put more effort into (except for my cookie run video). It’s really sad to see that kids don’t wanna see diys, art, minecraft or roblox anymore and just wanna see brainrot content.

Not going to lie, whenever I come across these, I report them for spam, it seems to help keep them out/off of my recommendations, I don't report them for theft, since as you mentioned, they don't know, but if I see an original video, then right after I randomly am shown 50+ videos of the same content but with what literally looks like someone posted a horribly cropped head shot of themselves, then either stuck it half way in the frame or constantly dragged it all over the video, they just want attention, it becomes bothersome rather fast

What I think is equally as bad and annoying but no one talks about is channels on YT shorts and especially tiktok who just steal an entire video by someone else and put soap cutting, hydraulic press, subway surfers, GTA, Minecraft parkour etc. at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes they even just commit to a single creator, reupload everything and take the same pfp and rake in the cash for 0 work, just dragging in a prerecorded clip.
