I realize my church is the rare exception and even then they arent really sure what to do with that information. But they love me and accept me.

I had a friend who was ritually abused and I didn’t understand then and sadly she suicided. I only came to understand later. We spent many hours with her listening but when we moved cities we found out of her demise in her early 40’s. she spent a lot of time in the mental health system to no avail

Life is hard for many of us, so take comfort in knowing you are not alone in that. I am sorry you lost your close friend. Also, I think many of us do not love ourselves, which does not mean we self-loath. We are just generally okay with ourselves. We can enjoy our personal strengths and work on our faults. God helps us to become more like Christ. Talk to God about these things and listen for His response. This may not happen while in prayer. Sometimes the answers come at various times during the day. Is there a pastoral care department at your church? You could process all of these concerns there. If not, you can look up verses on anger. You can journal about it. Get your feelings out on paper.
