Hi guys! I'm excited to answer some frequently asked questions today and share some fun family photos and video clips from traveling Antarctica, Thailand, Bali and Kenya. Making this video now lit a fire under me to book my next adventure. Where should I go next?? And good luck on the giveaway. xo - Lisa
Thank you so much Lisa for your effort you put into all your videos. I really look forward to them. My favourite one so far was your kitchen gadgets that you can't live without. That was fun. Love seeing your clean, neat and tidy kitchen and wish, some day, my kitchen could be clean, neat and tidy haha :) I'm trying, ok?!? :)
Literally born 1 year apart. Thank you for inspiring me. It's not possible for me to achieve what you have with your health *at the moment* but it gives me hope. I have multiple autoimmune diseases and in fact nearly everything you listed as well. I truly believe nourishing my body in every sense is THE only answer. And I cannot wait to be able to slowly adapt my kitchen and lifestyle to better serve my body and spirit x Ps Maldives? I know it's cliche but at some point it will be under water. It's so beautiful. Or the Greek Isles.
Best of luck Marzigeisha and wonderful suggestions re. the Maldives or Greek islands. I'd like to suggest Canada and specifically Quebec and the Laurentiens, just because I'm from Quebec :) and partial to my area. It's really beautiful. But the mosquitoes are fierce in the summer.

Hi Lisa, I was searching for spice drawer organization and watched your video. Since then, (2 weeks ago), I've watched dozens and dozens of your videos. Well, I've done a major organization, tossed away plastics and non-stick, bought All Clad, glass lock and stasher bags. I've tried several of your recipes, did meal prep and took a 30 foot trailer of stuff to the dump. You have honestly inspired me and my life is changing quickly. I've started a Pilates program too. I'm very grateful for your channel Lisa. I'm 62 and was feeling so frustrated in my disorganized life but didn't have the will to change - it's been so freeing to me. Thank you!
Great video! I’m 31, about to start nursing school (I aim to be a travel nurse), and I couldn’t be more appreciative to come across another successful, independent, single woman who values life, travel, self care, and health. You are such an inspiration! Also, I just so happened to watch this video in 2021 when my cousin is turning 40 and her birthday is August 31st ☺️ She’s independent, successful, and beautiful like you. I’m a new subscriber to your channel and have yet to see a video I haven’t saved to my “recipes” or “health” playlist. Thanks for all your hard work and for sharing life changing information! ❤️
Nice! I always enjoy listening to experiences. This one felt like a TED talk actually. I love the sophistication in your videos and the fact that you literally reply to all your comments. Ah, and congratulations for the 100k mark! Way to go. Cheers!
I work in corporate marketing and live in Manhattan. Before accidentally watching one of your meal prep videos a couple weeks ago, I don't think I'd ever used my kitchen. Texted my friend the other day saying I'm making cashew milk and she thought my phone was stolen. You've definitively helped me become less reliant on Seamless and now I'm actually thinking about what it means to eat healthily. Your recipes are so appealing and simple it's hard not to try. Real life is messy and not all food channels acknowledge that enough. Keep up the good work, Lisa!
Yay, congrats on your first batch of cashew milk Avi! That's wonderful you're trying new things and thinking about what it means to be healthy. Truly, it's just about taking lots of baby steps that add up over time. So keep at it! And so funny about your friend thinking your phone got stolen as well! 😂 It's good to keep our friends on their toes. Ha!
It's so nice to get to know you on a more personal level. Thank you for sharing. I love your channel for its aesthetically pleasing and informative content, but most importantly it's your charismatic and humble personality that makes it so unique. Looking forward to your new posts, Lisa!
Your a Virgo.you are very clean and organized.very intelligent.your down to earth.you carry yourself with grace.and I enjoy watching you so much.thank you so very much.
Lisa. Your candidness brought tears to my eyes. I just felt a surge of motivation to keep going, keep dreaming, keep trusting that everything happens for a reason and that there’s always something good down the road. Thank you for always being such an inspiration, and specially today!
Why did this make me tear up? 😭 you are wonderful and inspiring, i’m so happy you’re living your best life, and thank you for encouraging us to do the same!!!
Love the meal prep videos of all this healthy, fresh food! As a single 32 year old I also love that you are enjoying life & who you are. What a great reminder to us all. I also spent a year in Indonesia, my favorite place on the planet. 😉Thanks for opening up!
You tube introduced me to you and I am so glad! I have always struggled physically with mysterious symptoms and while I have never been diagnosed with anything autoimmune, once I changed my diet the symptoms went away. Your eating habits mirror mine as well as give me new ideas of cooking the ingredients I love. Thank you!
Goodness...I have so many things to say. First of all, like always, this video is stunning. It's like each video gets better and better. Secondly, I love you even more now after getting to know you (hope that's not weird lol). I love how down to earth you are, so intelligent, well-rounded and creative. You've built this community of equally wonderful people that are so supportive of you and each other. I'm SO glad that I found your channel. It's honestly just a matter of time before you hit 500k and we are all celebrating that with you. Thank you so much for all of your fabulous and original content. Cheers to 100k (and soon to be 500k) 👏🥂😊
Oh gosh Tia, I don't even know what to say in reply to your kind words, except thank you THANK YOU! I truly appreciate your support and I'm bursting with gratitude for your positivity on my channel. I'll keep my fingers crossed for that 500K mark and then we can definitely celebrate together! 🙏💕
Downshiftology Absolutely! I think it's important for us to givd you feedback. I hope that just like you, we can also inspire you to keep pushing, doing exceptional things, and following your wellness journey. I give it about six months until you get to 500k 😊
You are horrible when it comes to any sort of beauty routine.......?? You must be kidding, not only your personality,You look ABSOLUTELY gorgeous 💛!!!! I even like how you speak (I am Japanese and your English is so clear and easy to understand foreign subscribers like me❤) BTW thank you for drinking Maccha in proper way as we do,I am so happy!!! Arigato💛
Oh, you are too kind! But thank you so much! And yes, I much prefer to make matcha with the bamboo whisk than in my blender. It's almost meditative....and it helps me slow down in the morning. :) x
Recently discharged from hospital, lots of time to research health and wellness and food! I've seen 1 or 2 of your videos in the past and upon further research I am even more impressed and inspired. So many recipes out there are flavorless, and contain ingredients that wreak havoc on my digestive system. You make things uncomplicated, fun, informative and delicious. Thanks for being fearless, self defined, true to yourself and graciously sharing it all with us. You are as talented as you are beautiful. Blessings!
Not a lot of people would share thier personal story to complete strangers, but I'm glad that you did. A little spark of admiration ignited a flame of passion and curiosity I thought I had lost, and for that I thank you. I admire your honesty and bravery, and I wish you the best in your future, you truly deserve it. P.S. although I just reached 30, I still act like a 10 year old with my brothers and sisters, it's just fun that way hahaha!
it’s been 3days since i found your channel and i’m binge watching all day!! you have a quality and great content!! and you being 41(now 42) is amazing 😭😭 you look like you are 30 wow!
Love your personality and transparency...Thank God for finding you...love alll your videos...I am inspired and encouraged to become a healthier me! Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU CONTINUOUSLY!!!!
This is one of my favorite videos! I loved learning more about you and seeing pics of your family. You look a lot like your Mom. Your Dad looked like the sweetest man and if I could I would have reached through this screen and given him a huge hug! I loved hearing about your traveling adventures. You are really an inspiration to me. You have worked hard, overcome huge obstacles and used them as an opportunity to learn, grow, and help others!! Sending good thoughts to you and your family from South Carolina. Thanks for sharing all your awesome videos, tips, recipes, and kindness!! 🌸🏵️🌻🥑🍅🍍🌎🌞💖💙💜
Obsessed with your channel!!!!! The answer to your question about which diet is best is what makes me believe you are very genuine on what you preach. There are so many people out there promoting this or that diet, but everything in life is a balance and we are all unique. Love it!!!!!
I love your channel! All your videos have a strangely calming effect and I could listen to you talk for hours. I also really love your meal prep videos! Definitely gonna start eating healthier. Thanks so much for making these wonderful and amazing videos. Sending love from Singapore!
I like every single bit of this video and I'm so happy you're happy ☺ and the love that fills up your family shows up so much in your words and your eyes ☺
This is the first time i have ever subscribed to anything online. I am new to a healthier lifestyle and struggle to find quick and easy to follow recipes. I love the fact that you simplify cooking and your tutorials are to the point. Keep up the good job.
I love your story. It is wonderful. I do agree that a kitchen is never clean and no one can keep it clean as it might look on youtube, just by puting things away after you cook is what generally works. Thank you for your story and tips
I’m so glad to have found you! I’m off of gluten and all inflammatory foods right now (just for 3 weeks) to give my gut a rest, and I’m endeavoring to adopt a healthier lifestyle and meal plan! My biggest concern is getting my 2 toddlers on board. If you have any advice to that point... let me know!
I think I have celiac’s disease because I feel extremely awful after I eat gluten, the bloating, the stomach pain, and the lack of energy. I usually skim through RUclips for recipes and I like the ones on this channel. So glad to have stumbled upon this channel
I just found you and you’ve inspired me so much! I have a serious autoimmune with psoriatic arthritis and it’s ravaging my whole body. I’m not going to get on meds yet I’m going to try following your recipes for 30 days to see how I feel. Thank you so much and God bless you today
I just found your channel this week and I so appreciate you and your authenticity. You’ve given me new ideas with my kitchen and recipe. Thank you for being you
My birthday is Aug 31 too! I appreciate that you don't scream at me or have a fake enthusiasm, like food prepping is the most exciting thing in your life. Good nutrition is supposed to support everything else you do in your life. Laughingly...I run a home business bakery out of my home! I do fancy cookies for special events so I have to eat healthy and be full or I will fill up on the broken ones.
I think what you do it's so good to be a very influential model to people, I am 17 years old boy and I look up some things from you, keep that work on.
You are so relatable and I am grateful you found your way to your blogs and RUclips channel. Your information is invaluable to me as I navigate a few medical issues myself.
I’m a new subscriber so this was a great intro to meet you, thank you. I’m sure I’m not the first to say it... but I hope you meet someone soon or have met someone (if that’s what you want of course)! Whoever they are will be so lucky to have such an intelligent and naturally beautiful woman. I am the same age as you and married at 38 And now I’m perimenopausal with no children. I never thought I’d not have children! Best wishes to you 💖💖
I relate to your story. Mine was the same curve, on a shorter timeline. I worked hard in school, I burned out, I developed an illness, I travelled while healing my symptoms, and I came back to begin my new lifestyle of eating clean, exercising daily and sleeping much more
YAY! You're welcome, thanks to you. I've been enjoying your videos, but most of all the things I've learned, what I loved it more was the video you did recently, about how to preserve the avocado for longer. Thanks for your recommendations and advice on simple and healthy meals! You motivate me to keep eating healthy. I hope I can win the Vitamin blender and keep making you amazing recipes! 😊
You inspire me so much. I quit my corporate job a few months ago after health challenges. Never really cooked before either. Your channel is like a roadmap to navigating this new lofestyle!
Welcome to Downshiftology then Cassandra! I know how you feel, as my health was not in a good state during my corporate days and I know that definitely needed to change. I hope my meal preps and healthy recipes can help get your body back on track and feeling good again 😊
I came here today after watching your 9 ingredient meal prep vlog....I would love to see more esp vegetarian and winter type meals...I find it difficult to find tasty recipe ideas, esp without mushrooms (allergy)
I feel in love with your channel and your channel has helped me keep in encourage to eating healthy and keep meal prep!! Thank you so much for the videos!!!! Your a very beautiful and confident woman!!!!
You are such a beautiful inspiration! Thank you. 👏👌💯💐

I know it's strange but watching this video made me want to seat with you drinking coffee at some cafe and listen to all your travel stories. And I do want to win, already enter too 😘😘😘 thanks for doing this.
You’re admirable and such an inspiration. I have Hashimoto’s and while I know that watching my food is the best way to feel good, I frequently fall off the wagon. Your videos and Instagram account are becoming a great help for me. Much love to you from Colombia
It was such a pleasure to know you better. Love your videos. I've already entered the international giveaway, the price is just what I need (and my birthday just around the corner :).
Lisa, thank you for all the great content you provide! You are such an inspiration for a healthier lifestyle. I was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases and several allergies and food intolerances all topped by a bunch of stress related illnesses (including hospitalization) that led me to completely downshift my professional life to focus more on my health and wellbeing. Your channel and blog are a wonderful help to set the right path for my life. It was a pleasure getting to know you better through this little Q&A. You seem like an awesome person. Since your work is inspiring so many people and improving their lives, I am sending some positive energy to the universe to bless you in return. May all your life's wishes come to fruition and may your life be filled with love, health and happiness! PS: Since you were asking for travel ideas: Try Austria! Vienna has a great, historic culture + has been leading the list of best cities to live in for years. The alpine regions (e.g. Tyrol) are a wonderful area to go on hiking trips - you seem to love hiking, so... :)
Your videos have inspired me to finally learn how to cook. I’ve tried about 14 of your recipes and I can’t wait to try more. My husband thanks you because if it wasn’t for you, we’d probably be eating In n Out every night. Thank you so much, Lisa!
I'm so happy to hear that Nancy 😊I hope both you and your husband continue to enjoy all my recipes going into the new year! I have tons of ideas and videos planned very soon.
I found one of your videos a few weeks ago, by chance googeling for plant-based recopies, and rigth away your website became THE place where I go on saturdays to search for recopies to plan my meals during the week. I wok full days and yet like to eat and cook healthy for me and my husband (still in-betweens for my teener son :))...and that needs meals prep. I also enjoy cooking, so for me as well food has to be delicious yet not overcomplicated - love cooking but time is limiting-. And your s are! ....You helped me to move way further into healthy eating, and fully agree that you start noticing that what you ate was not rigth and start missing those items less and less, till you dont even like it anymore. From an Uruguayan, that almost no longer eat meat :)....Thanks Lisa! Hope you continue this remarkable (new) carrier and keep inspiring people to cook, and to eat healthy! It is one of the pillars of a happy life...
This is an incredibly open and personal video, very brave of you to share so much with so many strangers. I came across your RUclips videos by chance during lockdown here in the UK and I’ve really enjoy the ones I’ve watched. I have tried a few recipes and they are simple and tasty. Would love to see some Thai, Indonesian or middle eastern inspired suggestions with easy to find ingredients or substitutes. You have done well since your 100k landmark two years ago, best wishes for the future of Downshiftology.
Thanks so much for your kind words Nathalie! I'm happy you're enjoying my recipes and videos. I definitely need to do more Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern recipes in the future. So many flavors in those dishes I love. Hopefully more soon! x
your videos are not only good eating advice but I find myself just watching them to relax. I also have gotten eczema in my late 20s and in my mid 30s now. Never would have thought of allergies to something. Thanks much ;)
I have a daughter that's allergic to peanuts and tree nuts (actually all nuts). Could you possibly do a video with a few recipes as I would really appreciate that. Thank you!!
I found out about you just late year over IG & instantly love what you’re sharing because I am a sucker for healthy, easy & beautiful meals too. I have made your red pepper & tomato soup & salmon salad many times now. So keep it up Lisa cause I love love all you do here! ❤️💐
I think your discipline and A type personality is very attractive!!! Love your channel 💗! At 47 I’m also dealing with a lot of the same symptoms you talked about when I eat bread/ gluten I’m on 1 week of no gluten/wheat and I have less bloating, digestive issues, and inflammation and feel so much better!
Thank you Lisa...it was fun getting to know you better. We all have different journeys in life, yet it is amazing how much commonality exists. I look forward to enjoying more Downshiftology as your journey continues!
Hi Lisa, I just learned about your website a week ago because for the last 20 years I have never slept more than 4 hrs a night even though I have my routine going to bed on time and getting up on time everyday. My bedroom is cleaned beautiful and simple. When I get up, I always open my windows because I am very much Thai and do like to live in the dark. I have been eating pretty healthy, basically chicken , fish, veggies, and fruits. I cook Thai food once a week because I am originally from Thailand and have been living in the US since 1972. The last four years, I have difficulty loosing weights and it does not matter what I do. I exercise routinely, walking 3 miles a day and floor exercise and alternating with lifting weights o more than 8 lbs at least 5-6 days a week. I have been travel extensively all over the world the last ten yrs since my retirement in March 2010. I am 70 yers old and alway watch what I eat and just started buying everything organic since our return from traveling to Australia, Newzealnd, Thailand, and Kuwait in mid January this year. We spent 3 1/2 months overseas traveling. Even when I was traveling, I was still manage to eat healthy. Now, I am going to follow your cookings to see if it will help me sleep better and able to loose weight. I used to weigh between 125-132 lbs for years but the last four years I have been 145 lbs. if I can go down to my size 6 again, it will be wonderful as I do not like to buy new clothings. I had my blood work done and thyroid test done every year and the results was normal. If I can just go down to 135 lbs, I feel much better. What did you eat when you were in Thailand for two months. Thailand, my beautiful country is full of delicious food! I am glad you got Togo to visit and my people are very nice and friendly, right?
Hi Lisa! I am a nubby on your channel. Wow! I'm impressed ! I too have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's . I do not have a thyroid. I also have a Hiatal hernia in which I always have to be careful in what I consume. Your life style, eating commitments, eating gluten free and eating plenty of vegetables and fruits, totally suit my condition!! I'm in the process of organizing my foods in cylindrical weck jars as you have. I've started food prep for vegetables and keeping them in jars w/water i.e. celery, carrot sticks, red bell pepper slices, etc. stored in the fridge. I've also organized and stored my staples in jars as well i.e. white rice, assortment of organic flour, nuts and seeds and spices. I would like to know, for the tall containers you use, what size are they? 1/2 L or L, etc.? I am motivated and inspired. Like you the health industry had generic answers for me and I knew there had to be an answer and I found YOU!!! Thank you!
I am so grateful to have found your channel! I have been going through a 2 year journey with stomach and digestion issues and i have finally been diagnosed: i am severely allergic to gluten, eggs, dairy and wheat😰 and also have an appointment to get check for celiac desease. Fortunately theres wonderful people like you who make this process easier💕 your channel & getting a Vitamix as a gift has helped me tremendously. Thank you and God bless🙌🏼
Hi Irsi - I am so glad you have discovered Downshiftology as well! Finding out you have to be gluten-free isn't always the easiest at first. But you will learn to love wholesome, natural ingredients that taste just as delicious. I hope you enjoy all my videos and recipes along the way 😊
I have meal prepped in glass containers….OMG such a simple idea but a game changer! It is so much easier at meal times and we eat a lot more vegetables now, thank you!
I am in love with your channel. I just found you yesterday, immediately subscribed, and started binge watching. Thank you for what you do. I was diagnosed with celiacs about a month ago and am still learning about it and relearning how to cook. Everything I’ve tried to make gluten free so far has tasted awful but seeing your videos gives me hope. I can’t wait to try them out.
I love this video!!! I appreciate your honesty and how you don’t describe yourself to a specific diet, just what works for you and your symptoms! I have been watching your videos to get ideas for healthier snacks and meal prepping.
You are an inspiration. I am on a quest to strive to consistently be the best version of myself, and Thailand & Bali are my two favorite places (so far!). Thank you for everything that you do. Keep up the amazing work.
You see, you were one of my role models for cooking and eating healthy. But now you're a role model for a happy woman at 40. As a 25 woman myself, i really would love to be like you in some regards. I thank you for showing us yourself and your wisdom. And also many many thanks for the delicious food recipes. I followed some of them and had a blast. I would continue to do so. Thank you for sharing all of this to us
Dunno how I ended up on your channel but I'm so glad I did. I rarely comment on anything, but I just had to "stop by" and thank you. Thing is, I got my gallbladder removed this January and now I have to maintain a very strict and specific diet. And lemme tell ya - I felt like hell the first couple of months after the surgery: couldn't eat stuff I used to, couldn't roast anything and don't even get me started on the whole healing process. Things are much brighter now (at least I'm allowed to eat some "forbidden food" from time to time), but finding good recipes to cook and eat on daily basis is a real struggle. To cut a long story short, like 70-80% of your recipes are perfect, if not ideal, for my diet, and that's a lot! So - thank you so much for all you do, you are amazing
I'm happy you found me as well! I know it can be difficult after a surgery like that, but hopefully my recipes will provide a little inspiration as you navigate this new path. I'm not sure what specific diet you're on, but I have seen more research lately that in some cases gallbladder issues were tied to undiagnosed celiac disease (and the inflammation that results from that). Not saying yours is, but perhaps something to investigate as well if you haven't already. Either way, all of my recipes are gluten-free. ;) Hope you enjoy them!! x
You are so beautiful, inspiring and intelligent. I look up to you in so many ways and I’m so happy you’re doing well here on RUclips. You deserve everything good that happens for you. Cheers on 100k, Lisa!
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your channel. I found it by accident, and have been watching so many episodes, as you are so inspiring. You "inspired" me to get a Kitchenaid vegetable slicer and a Vitamix. Keep up the great work and thank you!
Please make more videos about travels and how do you manage to keep your energy level as high /stable as possible, i stopped traveling outside my own residence please in Germany because everything became so overwhelming when i travel now starting from finding something i can eat , to stressing about catching trains or flights ...and that’s a shame because i used to love wondering and i am still young and have a whole world waiting for me to discover ...thanks again for the amazing channel and the inspiration 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for sharing your story! Life has its own way of putting us where we should be despite our efforts to be elsewhere. A health issue two years ago forced me to change my life and I couldn't be more thankful it happened to me. Thanks for inspiring us!
Hi guys! I'm excited to answer some frequently asked questions today and share some fun family photos and video clips from traveling Antarctica, Thailand, Bali and Kenya. Thank you so much Lisa for your effort you put into all your videos. I really look forward to them. My favourite one so far was your kitchen gadgets that you can't live without. That was fun. Happy to hear you enjoyed that kitchen gadgets video Debbie! And yes, slowly but surely you'll get there. ;)

I adore your content and your class and transparency !! Thank you for giving this gift.

Ah, and congratulations for the 100k mark! Way to go. Cheers!
Thanks so much Hemant for your kind words! And wow, I'll take that TED compliment (especially as I'd be petrified to ever do a TED talk - ha!). ;)
So nice to get to know you better, Lisa! Have a lovely week!
Thanks so much Marina! You too!
You lead a beautiful life ❤
I work in corporate marketing and live in Manhattan. Before accidentally watching one of your meal prep videos a couple weeks ago, I don't think I'd ever used my kitchen. Ha!
Inspirational !
A google search for 'perfect boiled eggs' and 2 hrs later getting to know you. Productive day for me !
Sarath J I searched chia pudding and here I am, too! 😊
Same LOL I watched the poached eggs video

That's so funny because I did exactly the same this morning and found her too. Big kiss to Google algorithm 😂
It's so nice to get to know you on a more personal level. Thank you for sharing. I love your channel for its aesthetically pleasing and informative content, but most importantly it's your charismatic and humble personality that makes it so unique. Looking forward to your new posts, Lisa!
Thanks so much Anna! You're too kind. :) x

It's so nice to get to know you, Lisa :) You are so happy and energetic person ...
Lisa. Your candidness brought tears to my eyes. I just felt a surge of motivation to keep going, keep dreaming, keep trusting that everything happens for a reason and that there’s always something good down the road. Thank you for always being such an inspiration, and specially today!
Aww, thanks so much Sara! I so appreciate your kind words and I'm happy my video resonated with you. Big hugs!
Why did this make me tear up? 😭 you are wonderful and inspiring, i’m so happy you’re living your best life, and thank you for encouraging us to do the same!!!
Thank you so much!! 😊
I love how you show your human side and I can totally relate to you. This is a lifestyle not a diet. I love a lot of your tips.
Thank you!
You are what I imagine a real life Greek goddess Hera to be like
Goodness...I have so many things to say.
If I hit 500K in 6 months I'll definitely ship you a bottle of wine. Ha! Or a jar of matcha. Your choice. ;) x
@@Downshiftology getting there with the 500K!
Tia Barnes same as me , I feel it also , right person
You are horrible when it comes to any sort of beauty routine.......??
You must be kidding, not only your personality,You look ABSOLUTELY gorgeous 💛!!!!
I even like how you speak (I am Japanese and your English is so clear and easy to understand foreign subscribers like me❤)
BTW thank you for drinking Maccha in proper way as we do,I am so happy!!!
Thanks so much Fahad! And yes, siblings always bring out the best in us. Haha. ;)

You are so relatable and a true inspiration to women. Thank you for your wonderful content.
You are such an impressive influence. You've been everywhere and done everything. You are the ideal role model.Keep shining on🥰
Thanks Shanna 😊
Obsessed with your channel!!!!! The answer to your question about which diet is best is what makes me believe you are very genuine on what you preach. There are so many people out there promoting this or that diet, but everything in life is a balance and we are all unique. Love it!!!!!
Thanks so much Daryl! 😊Here at Downshiftology, we're all about balance and to understand that everybody's body is different.
I love your channel! All your videos have a strangely calming effect and I could listen to you talk for hours. I also really love your meal prep videos! Definitely gonna start eating healthier. Thanks so much for making these wonderful and amazing videos. Sending love from Singapore!
Thanks so much Lynette! I'm so happy you enjoy my videos. :) x
You are the answer to me and my son’s health issues ,following your channel ,already am seeing a difference
Thank you my dear friend ❤️
I like every single bit of this video and I'm so happy you're happy ☺ and the love that fills up your family shows up so much in your words and your eyes ☺
This is the first time i have ever subscribed to anything online. I am new to a healthier lifestyle and struggle to find quick and easy to follow recipes. I love the fact that you simplify cooking and your tutorials are to the point.
Keep up the good job.
Thanks so much Olga! I'm happy you love my recipes and videos! :) x
Thank you for this. You are such an inspiration the UN, all 7 continents. Wow. You should have a Ted talk. Thank you.
I literally so happy that I found your channel. I love it
I'm so glad you're enjoying all my content so far!
Thank you for being you
Thanks so much Noreen for your kind words! And glad you have some new ideas. :) x
I can’t believe you were born in Auckland! That’s where I’m from! :)
I think what you do it's so good to be a very influential model to people, I am 17 years old boy and I look up some things from you, keep that work on.
It's always so cool to learn more about the people i'm subscribed to on youtube! Loved this video!
Yay! Happy you loved it. :) x
So glad you enjoyed that video! Best of luck to you on the giveaway! :) x
I've got another meal prep coming up very soon!
And I love meeting up in cafes around the world! ;) Best of luck on the giveaway!
You’re admirable and such an inspiration. I have Hashimoto’s and while I know that watching my food is the best way to feel good, I frequently fall off the wagon. Your videos and Instagram account are becoming a great help for me. Much love to you from Colombia
You totally inspire me 🤗 👏🏻👏🏻 I want to be like you! 🙏🏻 love your videos.
Thanks so much! I appreciate that!
Your energy is so beautiful. Thank you for all your videos- you are a true inspiration to us all. Much love to you. ❤️
It was such a pleasure to know you better. Love your videos. I've already entered the international giveaway, the price is just what I need (and my birthday just around the corner :).
Thanks so much Natasa! Good luck. And happy early birthday! x
I'm a new subscriber and you've already stole my heart :') you're so adorable! Have a blessed day!! 🙏💖
Aww, thanks so much Letty! :) x
Where have you been all my life? Complete admiration for you. When I grow up I want to be like you. ♥️
Aww, thanks so much!
It is one of the pillars of a happy life...
i’d really like you to talk about your time in afghanistan :)
And can you please make a afghan cooking video?
Perhaps in a future video. ;)
Hopefully more soon! x
You seem such a lovely, intelligent and educated lady. I wish you to have someone equally special like you in your life to enjoy adventures together.
your videos are not only good eating advice but I find myself just watching them to relax. I also have gotten eczema in my late 20s and in my mid 30s now. Never would have thought of allergies to something. Thanks much ;)
Glad you like them! 😊
Enjoy your videos. Hope to win the knife set. Keep up the awesome work. XO from Toronto, Canada.
Thanks so much Sharon! :) x
I have a daughter that's allergic to peanuts and tree nuts (actually all nuts). Could you possibly do a video with a few recipes as I would really appreciate that. Thank you!!
I'll add that to my list. Also, make sure to check out my website as you can sort by nut-free recipes. :)
Ok thank you!!
I found out about you just late year over IG & instantly love what you’re sharing because I am a sucker for healthy, easy & beautiful meals too. I have made your red pepper & tomato soup & salmon salad many times now. So keep it up Lisa cause I love love all you do here! ❤️💐
Thank you for sharing your story :) What an amazing and inspiring woman!
Thanks so much! :) x
OK you got me at "no special diet for all" part. I subscribed looking forward to all your videoz
Yes, absolutely! Glad you enjoyed the video. :)
Thank you Lisa...it was fun getting to know you better. We all have different journeys in life, yet it is amazing how much commonality exists. I look forward to enjoying more Downshiftology as your journey continues!
Thanks so much Joy and glad you enjoyed the video. And you're right, so much commonality. I think especially with this community. ;) x
Wow, you’re such an inspiration!
Congrats on your 100k! 👏🏼
Thanks so much Ana! :) x
Welcome to the Downshiftology community! 😊 Can't wait for you to start making my recipes and continue your health journey
please talk more about the endo and how diet change affected it
Thank you!
Loved your recent meal prep video!
Thank you! I've got another one coming soon. :)
Me too, this is by far my most favourite video on the chanel, have watched it at least 10 times.
I hope you enjoy all my videos and recipes along the way 😊
It looks like you have interesting karma and purpose here on earth!
Thank you so much for bringing joy back into eating healthy. Can't wait to try them in my kitchen.
You look a lot younger and brite 👏💦 I love your recipes and I can't wait to see a video of a birthday cake on your channel 🎂
I have meal prepped in glass containers….OMG such a simple idea but a game changer! It is so much easier at meal times and we eat a lot more vegetables now, thank you!
You’re 41! I thought you were in your early 30s 😫😍😙
100% respect
I love this video!!! I appreciate your honesty and how you don’t describe yourself to a specific diet, just what works for you and your symptoms! I have been watching your videos to get ideas for healthier snacks and meal prepping.
Everyone's body is different so I never want to specify on a specific diet. But just to always use clean and wholesome ingredients when cooking 😊
Hi my 13th birthday is on may10
Happy birthday!!
Downshiftology thank you
Happy birthday! Turning 13 is a special milestone - enjoy your year! 🎂🎁🎈🎉
Hapie bday🎂🎂
Gbu.. enjoy
It made me happy to see that 5 years later you have 2.5 million subscribers
You are an inspiration. I am on a quest to strive to consistently be the best version of myself, and Thailand & Bali are my two favorite places (so far!). Thank you for everything that you do. Keep up the amazing work.
Best of luck! 😊
Thanks so much Soraya for your kind words! Big hugs. :) x
You are such an inspiration.
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your channel. I found it by accident, and have been watching so many episodes, as you are so inspiring. You "inspired" me to get a Kitchenaid vegetable slicer and a Vitamix. Keep up the great work and thank you!
Welcome to the community! I hope my videos continue to inspire you :)
It's been AMAZING to watch your journey and see you build this thing! Congrats, Lisa!
Thanks so much Chad! It's amazing how the journey has morphed over the last couple of year, huh? ;)
It sure does! Thanks Graciela!
