Thank you for this but I have a very difficult time believing that doctors don't know they are inflicting pain. They detach from the reality. How can you do things to women every single day that causes pain and then say you didn't know unless you choose to not believe what your patients are saying to you or expressing non verbally. How do you expect people to trust you when you choose to ignore and not validate their pain? It took me 14 doctors to find one who could care for me. The 12th believed me and got me to the one who could treat me. I'm on # 16 now and she's the first to offer me any pain medication after over 2 years of chronic pain. Just a prescription anti-inflammatory that was just once a day and easier on my stomach. I don't know when to stop pushing and start trusting. I don't know that I every will.
