I saw this song performed live at The Old Waldorf in San Francisco. The venue is long gone but I remember this song as well as Five Finger Discount.

For ears thirsting for new Steppenwolf music this album was a pleasure in '82. It was one of the first digital recordings, and it doesn't have the crunch that this band delivers live. First album without Jerry as well and his musical input as well as his imaginative drumming is noticeably absent. That aside, overall it's a nice listen and this track in particular proved that John Kay still had some great songs left in him.

.. It's a very good LP, for sure .. Should've gotten more attention, too

I've thought every album John Kay and Steppenwolf put out after that and John's solo albums both before and after that all deserved far more attention than they got too. There are some great tunes on every one of them. I've been hoping for quite some time that someone would post "We Like it We Love it (We Want More of it)" from the 1990 album "Rise and Shine".

The Balance and their cover of Hold Your Head Up snd Hot Night In A Cold Town were my faves from this album that I got from the import section when it was new. BTW these 3 tracks are on the B side. I guess I listened to that side a bit more, unbalanced .

Good album just a little weak on the recording.
Always liked Time..saw it live once and Replace The Face As the opener at a Wolf Fest.
