Nestled in that sea of containers is SA Recycling. One of the few exporters in the port. We take SoCals metal waste and recycle it. I work there and would love to give you a guided tour.
If those stats are for PoLA alone, you'd have to add in Long Beach for a regional total. BTW I think the US as a whole still does more trade with Canada than China, but of course that stuff goes over the land border or through Great Lakes ports.
