- Did you know that women were a big part of running a British encampment during the Revolutionary War? Reenactors Jane Pease and Christian Howlett are 18th-century reenactors who portray the live of two women in a British encampment. In this interview, they talk about the circumstances that would have lead to a woman to become a camp follower.
