Hello John, very good and detailed explenation. I do nearly the same workflow. Instead of using reference planes I set the gridlines for adjustment. And I move the elevation-view-dwg directly behind the 3D elevation (in halftone), so I do not need reference planes at all. Same workflow as in the floorplan.
