This is pretty Marss-specific though. When Light goes for the dragdown against others like Tea and MkLeo they tech a lot. Marss doesn't tech much.

These players are so emotional, its great. Watching the player cam is a show of its own.
The craziest part about this set is Light's comeback factor. Man was down 1 stock, at 100%, in game 5 but it still felt like he could bring it back.

the guy l fox dies extremely early, usually a back air or a bowser/king k rool fair (to give an example) at ledge will kill him at around 70~%

Light basically lost the whole tournament to a misinput Fsmash, its so easy to misinput a Fsmash when you try to follow up a midpercent sweet spot nair with a dash attack, as a fellow Fox main, I really feel him
Yeah that was a problem for me in smash 4. It's best to use the c-stick to dash attack more consistently.

Left stick and c stick together left or right will input an immediate dash attack, could help with not misinputing f smash
@@adamli7003 This is exactly what I do. I find it helps prevent misinputs (although occasionally you can tilt accidentally if you don't smash the left stick hard enough but its pretty easy to avoid this)

I'll keep saying that Fox without his Up-smash would be only a mid tier. But that fast, raw kill power means he racks insane damage and then kill you at 120%. But well, ZSS is a monster with her tricky movement, good Kill moves and absurd read potential, specially when used by Marss of all people.

I'm such a Light fan it's annoying to even myself and there's no reason to hate Marss. These sets are always electric. I love to imagine a million losers finals between these two (yeah loser's finals is a pretty hype scenario for this matchup)

Dang I was really rooting for Light. The one thing I wish he would do is be a bit more conservative with the random smash attacks. They leave him so wide open.
He is such a great strategist, with those amazing reads and adjusting to his opponent. However, once he gets down a stock, and really begins to feel that pressure; that thinking begins to seep out the window.
It's not like fox has any other killing options.

I think Light wanted to input dash attack but did the smash attack. If only he used the Right stick instead of A... He deserved that win. Fox is one of the most difficult characters because of the low range but high speed and light makes him look like no other
He didn’t deserve the win, the only person that deserved the win was the person that came out at the end which was marss. Just because a character is hard to play doesn’t mean they should “deserve to win”, that’s just not how it works and downright disrespectful to light.
