The commentary was great. I especially want to point out the part at 2:20 discussing how single players shape the meta- more than just the character, but their habits. The kind of commentary we need more of in games.
Naaman Rivera Bruh that was the worst DI I’ve ever seen, that move doesn’t kill at 55 lmao. Not to mention the kick was like frame 40 so it’s not random
the guy l fox dies extremely early, usually a back air or a bowser/king k rool fair (to give an example) at ledge will kill him at around 70~% as a Fox player, i can confirm that this fact is true and it is not very mission compree
Best set of the weekend FREE • top 1 of each character reps • FAST paced stocks • no fear, all talent Absolutely love these 2, both easily top 5 in my eyes
Light basically lost the whole tournament to a misinput Fsmash, its so easy to misinput a Fsmash when you try to follow up a midpercent sweet spot nair with a dash attack, as a fellow Fox main, I really feel him
@@adamli7003 This is exactly what I do. I find it helps prevent misinputs (although occasionally you can tilt accidentally if you don't smash the left stick hard enough but its pretty easy to avoid this)
i love these matches because unlike any match Leo is in, we have no idea who will win! they both can absolutely take this and that really does keep me on the edge of my seat!!
I can watch marss all day he's so hype man zss is not easy to use and he just demolishes characters that are better than her and light is just god like these two are amazing
I'll keep saying that Fox without his Up-smash would be only a mid tier. But that fast, raw kill power means he racks insane damage and then kill you at 120%. But well, ZSS is a monster with her tricky movement, good Kill moves and absurd read potential, specially when used by Marss of all people.
It totally looked like Light had the right pressure, such a swing at the end there! I honestly thought Light had it until the end 😱 only other match up that gets this kinda hype is Elegent vs Ally in smash 4 Great performance from both sides
I'm such a Light fan it's annoying to even myself and there's no reason to hate Marss. These sets are always electric. I love to imagine a million losers finals between these two (yeah loser's finals is a pretty hype scenario for this matchup)
Dang I was really rooting for Light. The one thing I wish he would do is be a bit more conservative with the random smash attacks. They leave him so wide open. He is such a great strategist, with those amazing reads and adjusting to his opponent. However, once he gets down a stock, and really begins to feel that pressure; that thinking begins to seep out the window.
I think Light wanted to input dash attack but did the smash attack. If only he used the Right stick instead of A... He deserved that win. Fox is one of the most difficult characters because of the low range but high speed and light makes him look like no other
He didn’t deserve the win, the only person that deserved the win was the person that came out at the end which was marss. Just because a character is hard to play doesn’t mean they should “deserve to win”, that’s just not how it works and downright disrespectful to light.
The sets of these two never dissapoint me
Indeed. These two putting out some of the best sets in ultimate history together.
I do get disappointed.
@Tom Campbell Poor attempt to make a joke.
M2003O he wasn’t joking though...
Light is great but marss plays like a wifi warrior, covering roll in every time and going for stupid shit for "style"
5:26 synchronized bouncing in seat.
Lmfaooo
thank you for this comment, it cheered me up after watching light lose
We're in a simulation.
that's why they're so good at doubles. syncrhonicity!
that killed me
Feels like I’m watching Goku and Vegeta
light being Vegeta and Marss being Goku
@@soumikd794 pretty much. Vegeta is so aggresive as light.

@@seansolo3583 Not a character for "good boys and girls".
These players are so emotional, its great. Watching the player cam is a show of its own.
10:19 was a pretty slick combo.
This is pretty Marss-specific though. When Light goes for the dragdown against others like Tea and MkLeo they tech a lot. Marss doesn't tech much.
Justin Chan he didn’t expect him to do a falling fair, that’s why he didn’t tech
The craziest part about this set is Light's comeback factor. Man was down 1 stock, at 100%, in game 5 but it still felt like he could bring it back.
14:01 that interaction looked like Smash 4
Thought exactly the same.
The launch speed Light gets launched is slow af like in Sm4sh

Marss' clutch game is that of a mid-60s Mustang
amazing set and could have gone either way
Hypest match of the whole tourney, it's baffling how this was just to make it to top 8 losers side.
The passion! The intensity! Brilliant!
Dude, Marss Vs Light sets are the best sets of ultimate. Always fasts, always close, always fire
Marss was like. “Hey, someone left the Light on in losers bracket. Lemme shut that off real quick.”

Fox struggles so much to kill in game. But is *amazing at killing my mood* when I play as him
Falling nair into upsmash is a pretty good kill confirm tho which he landed quite a bit in this set.
