Personally, I think the delay is probably just a result of Level-5’s bad habit of setting release dates/windows that they just can’t hit. I really hope that this delay gives them some time to finally pick up on marketing the game, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
They're just trying to get their cooking to Legend rank. They just have to upgrade the meat cooking, the fish cooking, the egg cooking... Just so we get a God-tier cook
As long as they put out a great product at the end, I'm okay with even 10 delays. I loved the original 3ds game, i just hope this game won't disappoint me

I'm concerned that it will be like AC: new horizons. That game has a lot of cutomization and building over the whole island, however all kinds of other content was cut back, for instance shop upgrades and projects. As I'm not someone who is super into customizing an island, I was disappointed. I truly hope Fantasy life i doesn't do the same and takes out all kinds of content because we can customize the area now.
Yeah :/ Just because AC was successful doesn't mean you should add and focus on that in FLi. Make what Fantasy life has and work on that :c I want to see more Fantasy life stuff :/
When he mentioned content, I immediately thought about New Horizons too, and how the content pales in comparison to the 3DS game before it. I don't think that's going to be an issue with Fantasy Life by virtue of the Lives system.

personally i still have hope for fantasy life i since even though it doesn't seem to have the same charm as the 3ds game looking back the 3ds trailers also didn't show much of the actual charm of the game. I'd love to how this compares to the trailers of the 3ds game and it's promition period. furthermore i feel like it has a lot of potential for different areas since the time travel aspect can mean the terrain would change quite a bit in between but that's just a theory. of curse there's still the possibility that I'm just completely wrong and that the game will be mediocre and then I'll cry but it's not all beyond hope just yet. also considering the amount of delay we got and the actual showcased content I'd say the marketing team is just not doing the best job so what we can expect is kind of a wild card.

I was honestly looking forward to the October 10 release date, but as much as the delay concerns me a bit, it also doesn't surprise me and I'm okay with it, since that means it can probably get released on the new Switch console with better graphics and performance. Either way, we have plenty of other games to keep us busy until then!
People say the switch 2 will have better graphics ect.. But will it be really worth getting FLi on the switch 2 Can't really do much with that art style plus it's not a spiderman or crysis game.
@@KingGoose Yes, but it might be the difference between playing the game on a higher framerate and the experience itself might be improved somehow due to some exclusive NS2 features.
October this year has a lot releasing. CoD, Sonic x Shadow Generations, Sparking Zero, and the new Altus game. Those are just a few of the bigger titles. There’s also other games like a new Life is Strange coming out. A delay is probably a smart business move. But the Switch is almost over so the timing isn’t great
@@KingGoose That's a difficult question, I definitely want to play and explore the world, whether it'll keep the same wonder on replays like the original is up in the air. I'd also say that the originals trailers were in a similar fashion to fli, so I'd be willing to give it the benefit of the doubt for the time being.

i mean i know it had better reasons but tears of the kingdom was delayed by like 2 years as well and was probably a better game for it. i have high hopes for fantasy life i as fantasy life on the 3ds is my favorite game of all time. cant wait for the hd texture pack and fantasy life i!
I think I would prefer it to be delayed so that it comes out when it's actually ready. As long as it's as good or better than the original. I still haven't found a game I love as much as I loved Fantasy Life on my 3DS!
I genuinely pray for this game’s success because I loved fantasy life on the 3ds so much and don’t want the series to die, but it’s abundantly clear level 5 needs to change their marketing strategy ASAP there’s so many things they could have done to keep the game in the public’s eye like how about releasing mini trailers every day showcasing all of the lives and what you can do with them around the island and now that they’ve delayed it a 3rd time most ppl’s hype has died and are starting to lose interest myself included. We can only speculate what went wrong behind the scenes like the game being shown off too early, covid, the infamous mighty no 9 guy being the producer but whatever happens next I hope Level 5 takes this as a lesson on how to properly release a new game especially a sequel ppl have been waiting for for over 10 years 💀

I actually don't mind waiting. "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." Sure, Level 5 could just not give a release date if they aren't sure, but this is still better than what Gamefreak has been doing with the Pokemon games on Switch (giving an release date and then sticking to it no matter what, even if the game isn't ready or polished :/ But at least they seem to take their time with Legends Z xD) I'm really excited for the new Fantasy Life game, I love the 3DS game and wanted another game for years, so yeah I can wait a bit longer if that means that we get a great, polished, fun game, that lives up to the first one ^^ But I wonder if this will be like Breath of the Wild or Kirbys Adventure Wii (Return to Dreamland), were the game get's delayed that much that it releases on the new console or on the old and new one xD
Im glad the game‘s been delayed again, honestly. The last couple of trailers looked a little undercooked, graphics-wise. I want Fantasy Life i to be a good game because I loved the original Fantasy Life, so here‘s hoping they use the extra time well.

I specifically remember your name since you were one of the rare few english speaker. Ever since the close down announcement, I left the account on hiatus so I didn't know you have a youtube channel! tbh at first with how Lv5 usually has bad rep with delaying titles, I sure kept my expectation low, but still didn't expected to be left hanging just right before the supposed release date. Even now I still have high hope for the game, but I'm worried when it eventually come out, the long wait time and many many failed promises might be outweighted my expectation.

I've waited so long for this game, originally announced it was 'coming soon' in the winter of 2022, but with this delay, it's going to be over 3yrs I've waited for this damn game if it comes out in 2025. It's ok I want them to get it right. I mean i've been waiting on this game since the original so i'm happy to wait longer for a good game. If they are waiting for the switch 2 thats silly, haven't Skyrim and GTA 5 taught them that people will buy it on every system.

The fact that there are two new life classes in this upcoming title makes me think the delay may involve fleshing them, and the other existing classes out fully. Now that we have proof they want the title released on other consoles, making sure this game can perform outside a Nintendo system setting probably does require intensive dev work as well. Just my two cents and analytical take on the potential causes for this setback.
A new combat life would be good but I mainly feel the dev team just has so much work they need to complete It also hasn't been confirmed at all on any other platforms yet :/

I hope this will not be some dragon quest builders experience. Dont get me wrong the game was fun but repetetive. I just hope this wont feel like a copy of ever Oasis or Dragon quest builders because fantasy life was just one of those games few who felt very original in a long time to me and thats why I am even more scared the sequal could ruin it.
