Amarok 4x2 vs. 4Motion Off-Road. How Capable Is The 4x2?

#4x4SMV We test the capabilities of the Amarok 4x2 compared to it's 4x4 brother.
Is the 4x2 version just a luxurious family bakkie, or is there fun to be had in the veld?
How capable is it during basic off-roading?

Whats obvious is when u drive a 4x4 u just under estimate a 4x2 easily. I'm super impressed

How does the 4x2 beat the 4motion in donuts? Doesn’t it have rear wheel drive selection? Like the 2010 first amarok?

Hi Toledo. The manual 4 Motion do have RWD and selectable 4x4 mode. The Automatic 4Motion is a permanent 4WD.

the 4x2 model how many hp?140 or 179?thanks

Both these Amaroks are 179hp, and 8 speed Automatic transmission.
