I had a thought that in lore, when everyone “dies” in the dsmp or the dsmp ends, they are reincarnated into the origin smp to live the life they were supposed to live. Just an idea/thought heh

I mean there has been things connecting smp's and such.. like there has been Niki from the dream smp going onto BearSMP(I don't remember what this smp was about!).. then there is I think a headcannon of Eryn from Dream SMP going to Outsiders SMP(Maze Runner- isk inspired roleplay sorta)
if im not wrong tubbo did say he came to visit from the dsmp when he visited another smp i forgot what its called tho😅 also this is just how i remember it edit: it was correct turns out theres an airplane in the dream smp also i think aimsey too

And despite the world being nicer and brighter and without the trauma and damage, they still go back because that IS their home and their friends are there. Simply amazing in every single way I CANNOT gush about it enough!

Just a little reminder that as you’ve spent the past few months living a life of ups and downs, ghostbur has spent 6 years in total misery, waiting at the train station wondering why the dot matrix display (which shows what people on the material plane are saying about him) is getting more and more sparse with communication. The last sentence ghostbur saw on that board was “who’s ghostbur?” Said by an unfamiliar name he’s never met before. This should have caused him to break even more but sadly ghostbur is already as far numb as he can possibly be. Maybe it’s for the best that everyone forgets him anyway. He only had two jobs after all and he blew them. L’Manburg is gone and Dream is still alive and in prison. He heard through the display that Friend was killed by Skeppy too. Just another thing he was supposed to protect, another thing that gave his existence meaning, gone due to his negligence. Hopefully Phil lied about friend having infinite lives… then they can meet again. Friend isn’t here. He curls up on the concrete for his 2,301st night on the platform. Falls asleep.
I love how the entire fandom around this group of MCYT has collectively decided that the angsty folks can go play in the Dream SMP and the folks who are just here to have a great time and a ton of fluff go play in AUs or the Origins SMP sandbox. It's so cool to see the talent of all the creators as they play different roles, and what the fandom creates is phenomenal! Fantastic vid, love the art, a good time all around!

Origins as an alt world they could escape to is so nice! I’d like to think of it as a sort of Narnia esque world- time passes faster while they’re there so people in dsmp don’t notice them gone (maybe weeks in origins are hours in dsmp), but also there’s some sort of magic so when they go through the portal, they pick up right where they left off instead of years passing in the meantime, love this

I like to think its a choice the characters can make themselves :3 its like the Multi-verse of SMP's!
