A tip I've found useful is to photograph the daily programme and any other printed information, especially emergency contacts and such for port visits. You are likely to have your phone with you at all times, but carrying bits of paper is a faff.
Hey, great tip! I've actually started to do this now that I've been on more ships - I've had too many situations where the rain has killed my itinerary, ha!
Hey! I won’t have daily vlogs from here, but have a ship tour, and some videos kicking off in a few days to show you the speciality restaurants 😊 Thanks for being here!
Wow ! RC Oasis class ship on the horizon 4 me. So glad to see your experience. I’m currently ready to summit to Princess Elite . When this expedition completed ( 3 sailings ) - I want to hop on an Oasis class. I believe I’ll will be just as giddy about it too 😄
It’s such an amazing experience - I just couldn’t get over the size and scale of the ship. I’ve been on huge ships before, but Symphony just felt like nothing else! Great that it’s approaching for you too - you’ll need to tell me what you think of it!
Really interesting video but having done an MSC cruise earlier this year with thousands on board and seeing a similar amount here (most likely more) on this one it fills me with dread. I just didn't enjoy the volume of people and lack of available seating, it's an age thing lol. Not for me but all the same you can't fail to be impressed by the ship and whats in it, really is incredible to see. That's what sharing experiences is all about. Well done, happy traveling and live in the moment !! Cheers Vik
You know, you’d think that, but it’s honestly not that bad - these ships manage crowds WAY better than those big MSC ships do - I never struggled to sit down at all! It’s a really fair point though - I can feel quite stressed sometimes with the fill level of an MSC ship. Thanks for watching!!
So good to glimpse NCL Epic again, not 3 weeks since I was on her - Great ship, or at least I thought so. Really wish I had the spare time to be on her 16 day transitioning cruise back to the USA this December, it's dirt cheap at £500 for a studio cabin - bit cold for the Epic Plunge though! Wouldn't mind trying Symphony, looks fantastic.
Wow - £500 studio is cheaper than paying a mortgage at home - remarkable! Nothing you can do to get the time off?! Thanks for watching Mike - I'd recommend Symphony if you enjoyed Epic!
I've been regularly checking Oasis and Quantum class ships for 2 years. I've never seen a solo discount on these class of ships and I'm too stubborn to pay double 😂 so RCL will remain on my on my wanted list for a couple more years unless I can convince a friend to join.
Yeah, I feel your pain. I was the same with Cunard, but decided this was the year I’d accept a couple of double fares… Let the hunting continue for future cruises though…!!
So I just looked at some sailings on the World Europa which you've sailed, the ship layout is similar to the oasis class rccl ships, which do you like better and why?
Hey Wendy, so they’re VERY different ships in reality. Personally, I’d be more inclined to do Oasis class before doing World class again - I found the World class ship to be a pretty similar experience to MSC overall, but Royal have a much more engaging product. Hopefully that makes sense?
Hi Fraser, we have our Oasis class coming up on the 22nd, we've sailed RCCL a lot on smaller, I'm curious to try other lines, so last night I booked MSC World America Yacht Club for October 2025 ❤
While almost everything seems great on that ship, i might be disappointed with the Indian dish you showed... in my younger years, i spent a year and a half IN New Delhi India, i might be not impressed with the Indian food aboard the Symphony... hopefully the rest will be better for you...
Oh, cool - that sounds like an amazing part of your journey - I haven't visited India, but it's on the list! If I'm honest, the curry was disappointing looking - hopefully that came through in my commentary! Thanks so much for watching, and taking the time to leave a comment, Tami!
@@FraserAtSea certainly your impression of the Indian food was clear. For your information - any excursions where (you have the remainder of the year)... there are any areas that have been populated by any Indians that fled India from when the British occupied the country, most likely you will find good Indian food... so you won't have to wait until you visit India... I'm looking forward to the rest of your ship vlogs for this vessel...

You never want to lose that emotional feeling, it’s your body telling how lucky you are to experience all, so go and enjoy every minute.x
Thanks, Lynsey - long may it continue!
Absolutely ❤ we are boarding sunday🎉❤
I love your video. Well done, a pleasure to watch. I appreciate you!
Thanks so much, Roger!
You are clearly having a ball! Lovely to see you enjoying yourself 🙂❤️
Hey Colin, having the best time currently! Thanks for watching!
Looking forward to your experience as I've seen many mixed reviews. Enjoy the journey! Bruce and Otis

Thank you for great sharing have a good day take care ❤❤
Thank you, and you too!
That was so good Fraser, your level of enjoyment for that day is very apparent! Makes you wish you were there! Thank you.
Thanks so much, Stephen - was a day on 'cloud 9', for sure - glad that's come through in the videos!
As always a great video .
Thank youuuuu!
Hi Fraser, you got a really nice cabin! Have a great time!
Hey Maya, it was a beauty, eh? Thanks for watching, as always!
I am glad you got to be on your cruise ship bucket list.
Thanks!!
So great! We are going to be in an ocean view cabin .Thanks so much for a great preview 😁👍🏻
Ah, your room will be very similar, if not identical, to mine - enjoy! Also, thanks so much for watching!

Hello from 🇺🇸! Symphony is my favorite ship of all cruise ships amongst all cruise lines. Bon voyage!!
Hey Natalie, thanks for the comment! She's a beauty, isn't she?!
We have our first Oasis class ship coming up next month!! we'll be on the Harmony of the Seas, can't wait!!!
Ooh, I was docked beside Harmony in Cozumel this week - you're going to have a BLAST on there!
@@FraserAtSea Oh how awesome!! I'm so excited, I called yesterday and upgraded us to a large balcony stateroom mid ship!!

@@FraserAtSea Alas not, busy time of year at work. Will keep eye out for future sailings though! Thanks for your excellent videos!
Beautiful 🚢 tour ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Good evening from Southport, to big for me but enjoy😊

Hi thank you for your helpful videos. Do you know if the sofa in this room can convert into a pullout bed?
I don’t know for sure with this one, but I’m confident that it can!
How was it being on the 3rd deck? Did you hear anything from the casino above or feel like you were away from everything?
Honestly, I didn’t have any issues at all! That said, I wouldn’t have been under the casino - not sure I’d be happy with that placement…
So I just looked at some sailings on the World Europa which you've sailed, the ship layout is similar to the oasis class rccl ships, which do you like better and why?

As a solo, did you have to share a table for dinner?
Hey, you don’t NEED to with Royal Caribbean, but I wanted to 😊 Hope that helps!
Interesting but not for me. I could never sail on a ship with more than 2000 passengers on board. I hate crowds. Nice to see how excited you were .
Yeah, I hear that position quite often actually. I’m currently on MSC, and these ships are often VERY busy! Thanks so much for watching, Joan!
