@@samsantiago8655people finance their kitchens all time, however they pay a contractor 50k+. Saving half of that while adding value to your home is so dumb 😵💫🥴😵💫🥴
@@samsantiago8655 Just curious what is dumb about saving 30k on a brand new kitchen while adding equity to your home ? The finance part ? People finance home improvement projects all the time , it actually makes a lot more sense financing something like that than a vehicle (a depreciating asset) . But I bet you pay everything cash .
Pantry drawers are FABULOUS! Alas, my home has no space for such a large pantry drawer. Also, I have a recommendation for the dead space in the corner: i actually installed a sliding basket mechanism that allows me to keep all my rarely-used kitchen appliances in that corner. It’s seriously GOOD to use & one of my kitchen’s best organizer.
@@pherocious123 but with my drawers I use everything of the space. If it wouldn't be drawers I couldn't access everything because of my backpain. It's worth thinking about later and investing in things you'll have a long time.
@@FellaHAILIRA I do installs for a luxury brand of cabinets in New York, most cabinets are 200k to 450k 😮 it’s unreal and these are for summer/ second houses.
I love the idea of drawers everywhere especially for lower cabinets, so much better than to dig for stuff in the lower shelf. Toe kicks seem like a nice idea until you need to sweep under. It’s why trims are caulked because the dust will get in. In the case of toe kick drawers it’s worse since it’s in the kitchen. Even if I try to be clean flour will still get everywhere.
I don't have the age issue yet but I injured my knee and getting down to reach low places was uncomfortable. I got a very light weight easy to carry around folding chair and just sat on it and reached down to wherever I needed to access.
I’m glad I got to see this cabinet design and color just in time for my kitchen cabinetry! Made my decision making much easier when I saw this video! I love this kitchen style! Thank you!
I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is my favorite kitchen design I've seen. it's beautiful! I love the wood tones, the integrated lights, pantry, custom utensil drawer and that toe-kick drawer. very well thought out!
the space where the corner cabinet would be is an opportunity for a hidden safe or something. if you pull out a drawer it could reveal a hidden door into a box in that empty space
Such a beautiful kitchen! So dreamy❤ I noticed when you opened the drawers, there aren’t any runners on the side of them. What kind/brand of sliding mechanism is that? It just makes the drawers look so neat.
I agree corner drawers can be more useful despite "loosing" all that space. I put a sink on the side and put our Reverse Osomis tank in the corner on a sheet of plywood.
Are you kidding!?!? She wasted the ENTIRE CORNER with her “design”. It’s just hey let’s stick in REGULAR SHELVES in the corner. Hey you know what it’s cool! Everyone has 2-3 extra feet of storage space In their kitchens… you guys are totally right…
I recently redesigned my kitchen and put a lot of thought into the corner. Most the corner "solutions" waste as much space as leaving the entire corner empty, because the cabinets beside are less efficient than drawers she uses. Others waste little or no space (blind corners, lazy susans hidden deep in the corner) but are such a PITA to use it's just where people shove things then forget about them and never use. The magic corner is the only thing I would actually consider "better" than just voiding the corner, but I have my doubts about their mechanical longevity, and it adds like $2,000 to your build, still waste some space, and are still kind of annoying to use. If you have a large enough kitchen you already have plenty of storage and can live without the corner storage and hassle it creates, and it looks like the kitchen in the video definitely fits that. If you have a small kitchen, you probably just need to use a blind corner so you have zero wasted space. @@honghonghu2111
Beautiful kitchen. My only gripe would be drawers behind doors in the pantry. I think that would get annoying fast (for me personally). Great colour choices too.
Having the money available to build such an organized kitchen would be my favorite feature.
Finance it and build yourself . 15-20k (cabinets and appliances no installation) for 5-6 years and the kitchen will be good for the next 30.

Toe-kick drawer!!!! Want that.Need that.
I’d end up kicking it by accident only to have the drawer kick me back lol
Built in pantry
Genuine question, what's the use? You still have to bend to pick the stuff up. 😅
@@aanchalsharma8362 not so much the toe kick part but its use of space. Very little storage in my kitchen and would be great for baking sheets.

All lowers need to be drawers. As I age, getting down on the floor to reach into the back of cupboards is a literal pain!
