As a hotel room, yes it looks spot on... As for location, nah. Unless I was a travelling Hearts fan intending on going to a match. But if you're just visiting Edinburgh, I think you'd just find a proper hotel.
If you think back before the madness of the Romanov era the chairman before Chris Robinson had agreed to sell Tynecastle to Cala Homes and had already agreed to play our games at murrayfield until Romanov came in and secured our home. No mater what people say and what he done he saved Hearts from being homeless and saved the stadium for us to have the chance to redevelop the stadium and make it our permanent home for generations to come. ❤️✌️👍✌️

This looks a really nice hotel and Hearts are probably my favourite Scottish club, plus a hotel in a football stadium is quite quirky so I’d love to stay here at some point!
I'm biased but it is absolutely first class, and as a lifelong jam tart season ticket holder and FOH club owner, from generations of Hearts supporters I am a moaning faced git who will find fault in anything the club gets wrong. Great review.

Thanks for the review, as a supporter and also having stayed at the hotel, you are spot on, it as good as anything in the city and oozes quality. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh for a city break or taking in a game.
Looks great Sam, would definitely consider if staying in Edinburgh. Will definitely cater for those who aren't even football fans and want to stay in the amazing city of Edinburgh 👍
I live in Edinburgh & if we're going to Tynecastle 100% I'd stay but if visiting Edinburgh for non-football I would not as not a great Location looking on to Gorgie / Dalry Road not great as only 5 minutes from Gorgie.✌️👍
It’s rare for hotels to own their hotels and the names you see (Hilton, Ibis, Holiday Inn) are actually management contracts to a property management company. For Example in Edinburgh the Waldorf Astoria is not owned by Hilton but a company in Abu Dhabi
This is correct. The big hotel chains are all run on a franchise model, and usually the actual owner of the hotel is completely invisible. But the model works because the franchise brand (eg Hilton) offers up tremendous value to franchisees. Booking services, allowing clients to earn and redeem loyalty rewards (which is a HUGE deal to those who travel a lot), as well as consulting services for things like pricing, staffing, etc. Running a hotel is really easy to screw up if you don’t have the knowledge and experience of having done it which is why so many clubs outsource it.
More clubs should start incorporating hotels into their stadiums as there's so many tourist fans (not a dig but true) so they can plan their matchday better.
Actually remember my dad worked as a contractor and brought me along to watch the Spartans cup game in a lounge the weekend before its soft launch during the Aberdeen game
@@steviekenny581the same could be said with Celtic 😂 empty seats everywhere except when you're playing Rangers..the difference is the games we sell the least is the OF..probably due to all the glory hunting wanks funding a team in a city they're not from, it only makes it harder for everyone else to compete.

45 minute walk from Edinburgh Old Town, 16 minute walk from the nearest Tram stop or Train Station, and 3 nights in the week will cost you £747, Fri-Sun will cost you £1047. If you're a football fan, you can't really afford it. If you're a tourist, it's a shit location.
Those prices are for the higher end rooms though? A Roseburn room for 3 midweek nights at the end of this month for example is £370 or £450 if you want dinner at the Skyline included. Fri-Sun at the start of August is £570 not £1047. (and there's only 2 rooms left available for that particular weekend so it's clearly selling)

Love the stadium when Newcastle played a friendly up there

The hotel has the potential to make the club a lot of money and further increase the revenue gap between hearts and non old firm clubs.
Try selling out yer whole home allocation, that might raise some much needed funds as well no?👍🤷
