- The Book of Boba Fett reintroduced the relationship between Boba Fett and Cad Bane. Bane was mentored by Jango Fett, and Boba was mentored by Cad Bane. The two had an interesting relationship and I'd definitely like to see more of it in future shows and perhaps Boba Fett season 2.

Dude.... Why do none of you creators of Star wars content ever put the source material???? from which comic, which publisher, what novel, legends or Canon, what RPG material... WEG or D20 system, or WoC ... AND PAGE numbers.... I like all your content videos,, and I'm from Dartmouth NS also. You know some of us would totally dig out out original books and look at them too.

I really want more Jango stories. The guy was so cool and is rich with lore from several periods. The mando civil wars, bounty hunting before the clone wars, eventually becoming the undisputed best, his adventures with a young bane and also a young boba.

In the original scraped version of Clone Wars Season 7 that we never got there was a unused story arc of how Boba Fett painted his fathers armor green and being trained by Cad Bane
I do wonder how having that arc would change my opinions on Book of Boba Fett. Perhaps if We had seen Cad Bane have his shootout with Boba in the Clone Wars, it would have made his appearance in Bad Batch, and his shootout with Boba Fett be on par with Maul.

I really want them to do a remake of Star Wars Bounty Hunter!! That’s what made me fall in love with the Mandalorian culture as well as made me love the character of Jango Fett!! I think that would be the perfect way to make newer fans like Jango’s character. Besides, that would also give Temura a chance to play/voice Jango again. Also, Jango is my second favorite character in all of Star Wars, right behind Anakin/Vader!!

Am I the only one disappointed that they didn’t have any Jango flashback scenes! I mean you literally have the guy who played him starring in the series! The Father of Boba and the mentor of Cad Bane, and he’s the reason why the clones even exist. Jango deserves so much more content and recognition. Imo, I’d rather have a Journal of Jango Fett series with Filoni and Bryce Dallas Howard co-directing than a 2nd season of The Book of Boba Fett with Robert Rodriguez and his weird Spy Kids influences. We need more Jango!

The question, is Bane really dead? After he gets stabbed in the chest a red light on his chest starts flashing immediately after. Then the camera cuts to his body for 2 or 3 seconds and you can see the light flashing when it wasn't before. Os it a way to signal Todo 360 that he's in serious trouble? The way the find ways to bring people back it won't surprise me of that wasn't the end for him. It also seemed like a kinda 💩 way to go out.

We might get a story/comic about his thoughts during The Empire and hearing of Boba Fett's jobs and apparent "death", before he decided to take the opportunity to "visit" him. Remember Fennec's line to Boba about retiring is that in their profession, it doesn't go that way. To which apparently, is I think what most bounty hunters think, you live with the job and you die on the job that's it.
I personally think Cad Bane wanted to go out this way instead of sitting on a homestead and die peacefully that all he wanted to see is if Boba Fett still lives up to his mentor's cold-killer instinct that is his only last wish. He knew that Boba can beat him even he is at an old age, under the assumption that if he can survive and crawl out a Sarlacc, and live with the Tuskens then he can do it. Therefore, he finds that Boba is the only one who can grant him his death wish.
Yeah but Bane may still be alive. Look at Bane's chest as soon as Fett stabbed him. A blinking red light activated that may linked to a heart monitor. Bane has always been really resourceful. He's concidered to be the best for a reason. Most likely someone tossed his body somewhere outside of town where they are then Todo 360 or other droid companion retrieved his body to heal. Possible Bane faked his death while teaching Fett his final lesson. Probably faked his death because he finally wanted to retire. He wanted Fett to carry on his lessons. If you developed a reputation as high as Bane had you basically put a bullseye on your back. You will have other bounty hunters after you. Bane may have thought of Fett as a son. Listen to his dialogue. He literally compared him to his father Jango abd pissed him off. I really think he pushed him to his potential by pissing him off.

While I personally am happy Boba got a huge moment in finally battling, and killing Cad Bane, I will agree it was too soon to kill Bane off and I'm a little sad they didn't properly lead up to it. A Season 2 of BOBF with Bane as Boba's recurring and personal nemesis, we could've maybe gotten some flashbacks to the Republic & Imperial eras, maybe even see Jango and Cad working together and Boba's training with Bane. It's wasted potential and I feel BOBF could've been so much better.
This would be a good solution. A second Season with Bane as the villain.
This series was almost perfect for me. I liked 1-4, where it was all about Boba. The rest was also a huge surprise. Overall I‘m happy. But true, they could‘ve handled Bane otherwise.
He didn’t die. When they zoomed in on his body his heart monitor was beeping . So I believe he’s still alive.
Do not count Bane out just yet. They went to a lot of trouble to preserve the character during his appearance in BOBF. His crackling voice, his menacing appearance, his mannerisms, right down to how well equipped he was. Yet.....no sign of his current ship or his droid, Todo, to be seen. Makes you wonder. His heart monitor was clearly beeping at the end of the episode and we all know Cad Bane thinks and plans ahead for nearly every possible contingency. No proof he is dead and gone for good. Bane is no easy kill by any means. Why do you think the Jedi had so much trouble with him? No, I say he survived and will return to haunt Boba, and possibly Mando, down the road.
I agree he's got to be one of the most badass and amazing characters in star wars. I loved him the moment I saw him in the comics and clone wars and even more live action. He was stunning live action and terrifying. I hope they haven't killed him off like that and done him dirty by basically giving him a live action cameo. The beeping monitor at the end scene and no ship or Todo may indicate he's got help on the way or their just leaving it open for a return if they decide it. I think it would be cool if where he was stabbed he has to have cybernetics or cyborg robotic parts. Like how boba got fennec help and stopped her dying by taking her to the modders. Imagine cad bane in season 2 with a whole metal modded torso and body. He would be like a terminator or something. Would be amazing and a even bigger match for boba to deals with

They did us dirty, bringing cad bane into live action, hyping us up, and then killing him not even an episode later

Doubt he's dead. Filoni has a habit of "killing" characters to bring them back later. See Ahsoka in Rebels, dying on Malachor until Ezra pulls her into the future, and Boba Fett, dying in the Sarlacc pit until he crawls out of the sarlacc pit. Cad and Boba shot eachother in the head and Cad survived. I don't think a poke in the chest is gonna end him as finally as a lot of people believe
They did the same thing to Jango, he died after one movie. And Boba Fett said very little in the OT till he had gotten eaten by the Sarlacc.
I don't think the life of a Bounty Hunter is meant to end gloriously in Star Wars

I’m a believer that the best Star Wars isn’t introducing canon into it. The skywalker saga is supposed to be over. 1st season of Mandelorian was great because it was new and fresh, unknown. Then it went into fan service mode. And we all know 2 Star Wars fans can’t agree on anything. It needs to be new, fresh and build a bigger audience with fresh ideas not chained by the past. New characters, new worlds, new evils and new struggles. This is the way stuff.
I do agree that they need to introduce more new characters but it's ok if old characters make a cameo.
The first season of Mandalorian isn't new and unknown lmao It is hugely inspired by EU material.
I really wished for a better 1v1. They could have done it like maul vs obiwan which was fast but very meaningful or a long fight that shows that they are equal and end it with boba winning with what he learned from the tuskens (also, where was the tusken fighter?)

I re-watched the first four episodes. MUCH better experience now that my expectations and hype is at reasonable levels. Honestly it just needs some light editing: 1) Trim out Boba smiling too much; 2) Trim out other characters speaking disrespectfully to Boba; 3) Cut out unnecessary talking and interactions (e.g. Boba and Bantha conversation); 4) Reduce the Vespers bike chase to some very quick cuts showing only the best bits (a bike crashing; a bike jumping off a roof; a bike going through a painting) to give the impression of speed - and go quickly to Boba landing with his jet pack). Stuff like this combined into a 2.5 hour movie would be an incredible film - even without Luke and Mando's extended stories.
I really like how this channel does content like whatever is popular in Star Wars he does on channel and add stuff about it and talks about it this probably just sounds dumb but I really like it
If you haven’t already check out the novel SW The Clone Wars: Stories of Light and Dark because in Cad Bane’s short story Bane is hanging out with Boba and Bossk telling them stories in prison and you get some more insight, how Bane felt he owed Jango a favor thus why he mentored Boba, but he also felt Boba, unlike Bossk, actually had the potential to be a greater hunter than Bane in the future.

Its like the relationship between Xavier and Magneto. I think he’s still alive and will continue to a part of Boba Fetts future. Wish they would have made the fight scene a lot longer and gritty
He was super old and the chances are he was going to go out violently at some point so we'll have to wait for stories of his younger days to see more, on the other hand a lot of people seem to think he'll get saved (he did have that little droid in the Bad Batch that could have scooped him up and got him healed,) but we'll have to wait and see.

It would be sick if they did a Cad Bane show, sort of as a prequel to BOBF. It could add layers to Boba and Cad’s duel in the finale. We could also see some of Boba Fett being a “cold-blooded killer” like so many fans wanted to see.

Ever since I was a kid I was way more fascinated with Jango Fett than the Jedi or Sith. His armor and gadgets were so intriguing to me & it reminded me of my favorite DC character Batman lol. Everyone was stuck on how cool the Jedi were & I was the only kid that was a Jango fan. I hope we get to see a series of Jango & his bounty hunting adventures.

I think they may introduce more in season 2 of Boba via flashbacks with Cad. That way Cad is still dead in the present, but we get more of a back story with Boba and Cad. It could even start as a convo between him and another character, when they ask "how did your Beskar armor manage to get dented?"

it shows what type of people to work with .. they might all be "bad guys" but the ones with a code and honor and the better ones to team with
_BoB_ needed more flashbacks, to Boba as a kid and a young man, etc… Cad Bane could’ve shown up in those too, to give the show a proper antagonist.

I don't think he's gone. His life support system keep beeping & the shot kept for a relatively long time. He is likely to be saved by a villain in the following shows. But anyway, he is way too old.

It's been over a year since Jango's genuine Mandalorian roots have been confirmed in canon, but it's still so, *so* satisfying to hear him spoken about in the context of being a Mandalorian in canon stories.

@@cadbane724 A potential theory I've heard is the helmet wasn't pure beskar and he was able to hit a weak point. Another possibility is he had a different gun at the time that was just more powerful and he lost it or it was damaged. We barely got proof that they dueled before, I'd imagine it'll be a while before we truly know how.
Wish a series all about bounty hunters would be made.going through all the bounty hunters stories. And getting the full backstory of cad bane and boba fetts encounters and training from Cad. Unsure why they haven't made a series like that it would work so well. To me the best episodes of both clone wars and bad batch are when bounty hunters are in the episodes. They are so interesting and their style and gadgets make them so cool and badass. Hopefully they will make a series or episode of the backstory of cad bane. He's got to be the most fascinating badass and best looking character in star wars (to me anyways)

Honestly I'm just kinda sad we never got to see Boba or Jango leading clones in any way (in real battle at least). It would've been badass to get a Jango x 501'st or Boba leading the 32nd assault corps.
From all I've gathered, neither liked clones too much, Boba especially. I think both would do so for enough money but since the clones worked for the republic and Jango was public enemy #1 right before he died, I imagine that wouldn't happen outside of fanfiction or a very specific scenario. It could be cool to flesh out their relations like how the Fetts view clones and how clones regard their template

Man I had a really wierd youtube advert for a cheap looking game where you have to keep a family from freezing to death in an abandoned house, though the person in the advert just straight up tortures the family...like who's asking for these types of games and why does youtube think it's me?!?

Boba's training with the Tusken's allowed him to easily dispatch Cade. Cade was prepared for the old Boba, not the new Boba.

If you want to see Boba developing you need to see Star Wars The Clone Wars. Boba tries to avenge his father's death by killing Mace Windu. He went to prision, worked with Cad Bane and Aurra Sing then tryed to make it on his own.
