What a beautiful cover for a Black Metal album. I really enjoy how diverse black metal has become. Truly vast coming from a small subgenre.

This is one of the most beautiful, emotional albums I've ever heard. I applaud the band and I truly wish the distance wouldn't be such a hard barrier to watch a live rendition of any of these songs.

I've never liked black metal in all my years of listening to metal. I've always been into power/folk metal but this is like a perfect fusion for me. So glad I found this gem.

@@roqueguardado4477 you have the most power metal/melodeath inspired folk metal bands that sound a bit happier, Ensiferum is probably the prime example of this.
You also have a lot more folk/atmospheric black metal bands though. If you're more into a bit more sorrowful/melancholic music (given that you clicked on this skyforest album), try Devoured by the Oak by Cân Bardd, Against This Weald by Ifing and The Palms Of Sorrowed Kings by Obsequiae.

Essa foi a coisa mais bonita que eu já ouvi na minha vida desde o álbum Dark Side of the Moon e Meddle, ambas do Pink Floyd. Interessante demais essa linha "positiva" do black metal, dá até vontade de chorar de tão bonito.

If you want to get technical. This would not be considered "trve black metal" as that usually refers to raw black metal. Skyforest would fall into the category of atmospheric black metal or even post black metal
