- In this video I am opening up Invader Zim Seasons One and Two on DVD. Together, these make up the complete series of the show. These were purchased on Amazon and are the Amazon burn-on-demand discs. I'm not sure if there is a better release of these in the USA honestly...This is what I found that seemed to be the cheapest, so that's what I decided to buy. Overall, pretty nice releases!

They released the series originally as three volumes back in around 2004 or so, and those are still available on Amazon for decent prices so i will probably get them eventually. The thing that is really cool about the three volumes is that they each come with a second disc that has lots of cool extras.
I am one of those who saw it originally on Nick as a child, so i was around seven or eight years old then but even at that age i thought it was a very cool if very bizarre and dark humored show.
It’s coming back as a TV movie this year !

Invader Zim has official DVD releases, there is 3 volumes and they make up the complete series
Invader Zim was previously released in three 2 disc DVD volumes and a complete series in the shape of Zim's house from some company whose name I can't remember.

I just bought this set from amazon and the first season is way different from yours, it has stacked discs, it has barcodes on the discs and the case type is different.
There is Australia as they are region free. Quite cheap I believe too. Official discs as well and not made on demand.
On season 2, the dog is actually a robot in disguise, who is named GIR.
I don’t think these will be taken off from amazon anytime soon since this is one of those old shows that everyone like myself loves as of today
Weird, The Fairly OddParents and Invader Zim both premiered on March 30, 2001 and both shows get seasons DVD exclusively through Amazon.com in Region 1. Also, I'm not counting The Fairly OddParents Season 6 Volume 1 DVD as that is NOT a full season.

Invader Zim was originally released in 3 volumes each with two discs released by a company called Anime Works. Those volumes contained the complete series, and they actually had special features like animatics, interviews, commentary, and much more. I hope you don't mind losing out the special features. Those volumes are kind of expensive to find brand new now.
Arghh, I should have done better research on these. I think I'd rather have the 3 volume sets. Might have to hunt those down if I can find them cheap enough. Thanks
J's Blu-Rays don’t worry about it, as of getting the actual series to watch and have, this is pretty much the only way, that set from anime works came out in 2004 and is now extremely expensiveness and rare,like you can get it right now from amazon for a little over 200$, also it is being bootlegged all to hell and it’s really hard to determine a real from a fake with this set, I’m happy with my amazon release!

My favorite episode in the series is GIR Goes Crazy and Stuff.
How do you buff the scratches out of a DVD? I remember you said when you got Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends Season 1 you said they buffed the scratches out of the discs.
There are machines that can do it. Essentially it shaves off a thin layer of the outer coating where the scratches are. It's not a very good thing to do because it makes the disc weaker and thus more susceptible to damage in the future, but if you have a disc that is so full of scratches that it's unwatchable, then getting it buffed basically gives it a second chance. But you can't really buff a disc too many times because eventually you'll get to the inside where the digital content is stored and ruin it completely.

There is Avatar: The Last Airbender The Complete Series Blu-ray coming out this summer.
I'm waiting for the blu-ray release of that show and I'll probably review that
