I cut mine into little wedges and dip them into various dressings, toppings, etc. Edit: Oh! I forgot, one of my favorite things is an icerberg lettuce wrap filled with diced watermelon, feta cheese, fresh mint, and vinaigrette. THAT is a heat reliever. So juicy and refreshing! 😋💜

@@lionessofel3203 I have sliced up a chicken breast with some mayo and tomatoe, mixed up salad toppings and shoved it in there, tuna or chicken salad, any sandwich stuffs, meatballs like a meatball sub with cheese .. if the food stuffs are wet it will leak out but it's pretty yummy if you don't want to or can't have bread and contains stuff except liquid drip off

I would gladly munch on iceberg as a snack, but I definitely don’t prefer it as the main leafy vegetable in a salad or a burger/sandwich. Although, this iceberg salad here looks like a satisfying textural experience.

Romaine lettuce is much healthier, but iceberg still contains primarily Vitamins A and K and folate but also does contain Vit C, Ca, and K+ and is great for hydration in the heat and is low in calories. It’s a way healthier option than a lot of other things with empty calories, like processed meats, cheese, dairy, sugary snacks, salty snacks, basically everything processed that doesn’t grow in the dirt.
