Adulthood starts when puberty is complete, not when it starts, because you have to go through it completely to safely bear children. It is scientifically proven to have a death rate more than double that of a fully developed woman being pregnant. Women don’t reach full maturity at 9 year old and never have. Yes some start puberty at that age but certainly don’t go through it completely before the age of 9. The fact that they are trying to defend child marriage is sickening.
