That is a beautiful piece of real estate. I love these old Georgian homes and having the view of the sea from the backyard is a major bonus

I was born in Top Road where that property is, but never went there thanks for showing that I could see what it looked like.
Whatever history is behind the house, it is a very elegant British Colonial house. Beautiful buildings should be admired. I can like this house while acknowledging Jamaican history. Don't see why you can't do both.

@@therealovadose5770 You can't separate the architecture from the history. I don't feel that way. Even with the hurt associated with our history, I still see a beautiful building.

Good landscape, weird slavery days history. Not worth 3 million n not sure why there's so much pride in this house being formerly owned by a plantation owner and it needs a modern touch inside, I guess your buying the history and views of this place. I rate it 6/10 and no more than 1.3M USD

Guys this is only my opinion. This property is way overpriced. It seems as though you are only buying the land. The view and the grounds 10/10, everything else is dated and very cluttered.
Is this home not available for vacation rental anymore? I've been eyeing it for years, and finally visiting Jamaica this fall. I'm sad to see that I may not be able to stay here. I also read great things about the owners. Sad to see that it's up for sale.

Nice to see how MY ancestors lived and the beauties they built. Everything is not about the negative.
What I see is the skill, strength and work of our ancestors to build such a beautiful place. It also shows the mahogany and other woods that was abundant in Jamaica. Why would anyone demolish the work of our ancestors' hands? Too many of Jamaica's beautiful historical properties have already been destroyed. Then the 🇯🇲 Jamaican history would be reduced to " once upon a time". This is evidence that enslaved people not only worked the land but built up the environment.
