It’s my fifth day in asseto, first time trying sim racing. Already second day driving only on red bull ring trying to get better time. Got best lap 1.33. Thank u for the video, now I see. I have a lot of work.
1day and i got a 1:31 this game is so hard to drive
Excellent Video. One of the best Track Guides Ive seen. Format and editing are awesome! - Subbed.
Totally agree. All the right detail about the braking points and how far you can push the exit limits. Subscribed and will be watching the guides for the other tracks.
After a couple of laps I got a 1.32 with the porsche cup car thanks for the guide
Beautiful video! Thanks so much for putting this together!
Wow great camera angles mate!
Next level work, amazing! Thanks for sharing your efforts. I'm subscribed 👍
thanks for the video . this track is so fun in VR
Currently at the 1:30 mark. Your video points out some of the corners where I am losing speed. I've got some homework to do!
I used the McLaren here yesterday! I was a full second faster then i was with the Porsche! I couldn't seem to get those last 2 turns right with the 992!
I also noticed you can take turn one a few MPH faster with the McLaren if you brake after the 100 meter board and stay in 3rd before downshifting jnto 2nd after the apex
Yep… great guide… loved the video editing 👍🏼
I'm SO HAPPY that they didn't go full Gestapo with the track limits around RBR. I don't care what the FIA, SRO, or other organizations say, relaxed track limits around here are kind of necessary based on its current design. It's simply the natural flow of the circuit. Tracks like Bathurst, for example (not including the concrete walls in sections) isn't designed to encourage track limit abuse at all, but yet it remains fun.
To me, it kind of reminds me of driving down a road where if feels like the speed limit is 15mph lower than that what it "feels" like it should be. Sorry, if you have a large, straight, multi-lane road with clear sight lines and little cross traffic or lights, people are just not going to want to drive 35mph down it. Traffic will NATURALLY kind of settle in to a flow probably closer to 45-50.
Eating Tortellini while watching a Tortellini Video, great
A well presented video, thanks 👍 🏎️💨
Great track guide mate 👍
Cheers Tort!
Subscribed. Thanks for video. Good editing too.
Weird to brake not on the track. Seems so unnaturally
i did a practice weekend with the AI.. at 100% the AI bentley got into the 1:27's.. Im still trying to get into the 1:28's sp hopefully this should help having never driven on this track before
also Check out engine map 6 with short shifting a bit.. Im actually faster with it for some reason. def helps acceleration wise out of the mid and slow speed corners imo
Nice guide maciej, did you change mic? cus the audio its so much better
Awesome track bro! God job
Thank you so much!
Very good track guide format
Great guide. Gt2 though cannot brake so effectively on those curbs. Maybe I’m wrong or my setup is messed. Also why going downhill into a turn causes the car to understeer? You mentioned it to your guide.
Nice video, when this will be available in console I will use this as reference for sure.
By the way, doyou have a track guide of SPA?
oh man i didn't know you could pretty much drive this track on the curbs. I have quite some practice ahead of me.
You da man!
🏆
Great video. I cant seem to break out of the 1:30.1😢
Don't worry mate, there's a lot of time to find... I got to 1:29:7 pretty easily within around 1.5 hours of practice and I was too cautious about the track limits, so there is more time to find... this track is awesome and the Porche is flying here... maybe your setup is too understeery? Depends on your driving style too... I have gone through a lot of pain and crashes to learn to control the wild oversteers of the Porche but if you're driving a Merc or a Lambo I can assume this track could feel very hard to drive as you really need to throw them into the turns cause otherwise they're too planted on the road and you massively understeer...
Anyway, keep up your work and practice without frustration my man... keep calm and you'll break under the 1:30 mark in no time
Edit: I started using the whole width of the track and pretty soon I was consistently around 1:29:2 and 1:29:5 with a half full tank (50ltr) with a best time of 1:28:890. Trust me... there's a lot of time to be found on this track and it's not hard to extract that time... just make a slightly oversteery setup and be gentle with your wheel... don't overdrive the car cause that's how you lose massive amounts of time on this track. Let your arms be loose and feel the edge of grip of the tires and you'll be flying in no time...
Amazing video, too bad my computer doesn't display that good 😅
Either I'm really bad at this sim racing thing, or I can't tell the difference between these GT cars. I ran this track all day yesterday getting a low 1:38 and I can't seem to get any lower.
You're probably not trail braking and you're not using nearly as much width as the track can offer... these are the two huge time wasters for newbies at sim racing... don't worry, we've all been there...
watch a couple of vids on trail braking and try to emulate the technique... and also use all the width of the track like Tortellini did...

Low 27 also as the GT2 Cars, that need to be fixed
F1 games: so you laser-scanned the track almost instantly after it was updated irl?
Assetto Corsa: what? Like it is hard?
Real but acc has a lot outdated tracks. same for assetto corsa.
beans
27's!! LOL!!!
In real life racing at this track they don't use this much curb they would be penalised... no wonder on most tracks I'm no where near the times as I stay inside the curbs most of the time as in real life.
So in a way ive got to cheet by making the track wider than it was intended...
When will these racing titles put harsh penalties for this... you get this in the rally games the top drivers massively cut almost every corner to a point its beyond fairness and not in keeping with real life..
We have the same track limit rules as official IRL SRO competitions, just saying, majority of the times it’s more about teams irl avoiding harsh rattling kerbs for minor time gains or they also go for safer lines as outside of the track over the weekend build up a lot more dirt and marbles than what we get in games, regardless irl in quali top drivers and top teams still go for full send and use those kerbs like that, it’s a lot more case than just saying limits are unrealistic and using it as excuse, as a racer if you wanna be at the top you make the most of what you are given and it’s the same irl and in sim
@@Tortelliniiwow actually a good answer didn’t think anyone would cook this hard lmao
Great...another track showing how unrealistic the braking is in ACC. You can never use this much curb for breaking IRL
😂 u need to watch rbr dtm last year, you'll be surprise how much track they use
So, play something else. It's not rocket science.
Ok snowflake. @@matthewbyrd398
Sure snowflake@@matthewbyrd398
Bought this DLC just for the track 🥲
I did also havent even tried the gt2 cars, probably wont ether.
@@Leadbelly.Why. GT2 is so fun. It's still a growing series but the cars are unique and amazing
GT2 cars are fun but the track is totally worth the price.
I think the addition of RBR sold more DLCs than the cars alone. Kunos should always add a track with car packs. Unless it's a 3 or more track only DLC.
@quinners206 ACC has the most stubborn player base of any sim racing game in history. The overwhelming majority of the player base sticks with just GT3 every race they ever do every day, every week, every month, every year. They never want to even do a single race of GT4, or Porsche cup, or BMW M2 CS, or Ferrari Challenge, or Lamborghini Supertrofeo, etc. They're only playing GT2 now because it's new but give it a few weeks and the servers will be all just GT3 again, just like what happened with GT4. It's depressing tbh. I have no clue why this is. All these other cars are so much fun, but these players are so BORRRRRRING and stubborn and hyper obsessed with GT3. They never want to spice it up or have any variety, personalities of a piece of cardboard.
Wow, did i not know you can just about drive off track, JUST about, two wheels barely on the stripes. Didn't think that was the way around. will have to look at this.
