You have to handwave a bit to make this work. If Ceroba can't read your stats, she wouldn't know in the first place whether or not to go with you to the steamworks after you spare Starlo. Martlet, however, can read your stats as the role of the "judge" like sans was (for instance, she knows if you're 0exp or not at the end of neutral). Martlet could have relayed information about your stats (which can't change during the wild east segment) to Ceroba when she released Martlet from prison, especially if Ceroba thought to ask her. It's a plausible explanation, it just necessitates mental gymnastics.

He stated he wanted to make something to protect monsters from humans, so he made the soul serum to make monsters more strong, but it ended up only working on boss monsters, a rare breed of monster, that can withstand and control the power of a soul. Sense the soul was tainted, and Kanaco was to young, she died. So if the human has any intention in even harming anyone or anything, it could taint the soul. And Ceroba is taking the precaution to make sure it’s not gonna get tainted, because there was limited readers on it and she doesn’t know what goes
How is it self defense? You are given the first move and not only that they don’t even mean to kill you. Maybe the gardener but that’s only cause of a glitch

Ceroba leaves you because she is dumb, not because your soul isn't pure anymore. She can check your exp and lv at the beginning to decide to come along or not (so this means 0 exp = pure soul) and then even if you don't have exp she leaves. There's no good explanation for this, Clover's soul MUST still be pure even after destroying a robot, because even if he showed violence, It's against a non-sentient being that can be repaired, you could say that they are the same as dummies in the wild east. Also hurting monsters but not killing them doesn't make my soul unpure, so there is no reason to why destroying a bot would make it. So yeah, only reason why Ceroba leaves you is that she is dumb af and forgot she can check your lv and exp to determine if you're pure or not. Honestly this is poorly done by the devs, they could have made a more appealing reason.
@@void1895 was there something different when you backtrack? In pacifist, Starlo and crew stated they renovated Cerobas house when she was with Clover, can you still access the house once you abandoned pacifist, and if not, what unique dialogue was said by the npcs there?
for who dont know, all the robots is made by her husband (he die by working to much) and she dont want to do anything that hurt her heart more. Since she kill her only child.

I think that is because Ceroba thought that any robot from there was made up by chujin, so maybe attacking a robot is unpure for her
