The colors seem overexposed to me. I'm not against using filters to create a sense of moodiness but the natural world is enchanting as is, and these types of overstyled videos always leave me feeling I'm not even on the same planet earth as these people for whom everything is brightly saturated. As if they want you to feel just how magical there life is and yours isn't.
@@kareharpies you are of course welcome to your opinion, but your assumption of my own reasoning couldn't be more off. It would be far quicker and easier for me to not bother with any colour grading, etc. It's hugely time consuming. I do it to create a warm, cosy atmosphere for the viewer. A few moments transported elsewhere.

You have a true poet’s eye. Your films seem to uncover just what was already there. The next shot, the next cut is always the right one as though it was waiting, just in line, to be slotted in just where it was supposed to go. I know that’s not how it works but the fact that that’s how it ‘feels’ is a true measure of your craft. Thank you.
Of all of the channels I’m subscribed to yours is by far my favourite. The cinematography, the colours, the location and of course the story telling. Simply sublime. Hello Chole💐I have been waiting for your video, we were getting rain yesterday so I cleaned my backyard and pruned one of plum trees and I put off watching your video until today. Good morning Chole, I have 2 plum trees, a Santa Rosa and a Burgundy which give us plenty of plums starting around June, I had a Reed avocado tree that was about 7ft and it was starting to give us avocados but the squirrels got to it and destroyed the young fruit and the summer heat killed it after that. I will be planting another Burgundy tree this year because it gives a lot of plums and my daughter-in-law loves making jams🤤Chole you have a great day and may your adventures continue💐and if you celebrate thanksgiving then have a wonderful thanksgiving😉

Beautiful video 😍 Hopefully your home is accessible during deep winter. We bought a 10 acre farm and the seller never warned us that it's not even accessible during the winter due to 10ft plus of snow all the way to June. Far too many people romanticized this lifestyle without seeing them in winter. Hopefully it checks all the boxes for winter.
Ahh what country are you? 10 acres sounds perfect though, I would love that amount of land. We did in depth surveys, including environmental, though we could see the potentials on the drive over during viewings. We got 'iced in' the other week and could definitely do with a 4x4. We may get cut off temporarily but just means we'll have to be better stocked with food. Since Cumbria is coastal, the Winter's aren't usually too bad (we can get ice and snow but it's here and there or maybe a few weeks. It's never all Winter.) That must be quite the adventure for you!
Your videos are beautiful. You've inspired me to go on many of my own adventures, in the lakes and elsewhere. You really are very talented with the way you capture the wildlife on film, and your choice of music fits perfectly. I love making a cup of coffee and sitting down on my own when a new video of yours drops, they really do bring me a sense of calm and relief while watching them. I think my favourite thing might be the little snippets of Tolkien you include within them, that man shaped my love of nature, and I can feel he had a huge influence on you as well. Anyway, time for me to start planning another little adventure I think. Thanks again for the videos, long may they continue to bring smiles to us all. :)

Beautiful video 😍 Hopefully your home is accessible during deep winter. We bought a 10 acre farm and the seller never warned us that it's not even accessible during the winter due to 10ft plus of snow all the way to June. Far too many people romanticized this lifestyle without seeing them in winter. Hopefully it checks all the boxes for winter.
Ahh what country are you? 10 acres sounds perfect though, I would love that amount of land. We did in depth surveys, including environmental, though we could see the potentials on the drive over during viewings. We got 'iced in' the other week and could definitely do with a 4x4. We may get cut off temporarily but just means we'll have to be better stocked with food. Since Cumbria is coastal, the Winter's aren't usually too bad (we can get ice and snow but it's here and there or maybe a few weeks. It's never all Winter.) That must be quite the adventure for you!
Your videos are beautiful. You've inspired me to go on many of my own adventures, in the lakes and elsewhere. You really are very talented with the way you capture the wildlife on film, and your choice of music fits perfectly. I love making a cup of coffee and sitting down on my own when a new video of yours drops, they really do bring me a sense of calm and relief while watching them. I think my favourite thing might be the little snippets of Tolkien you include within them, that man shaped my love of nature, and I can feel he had a huge influence on you as well. Anyway, time for me to start planning another little adventure I think. Thanks again for the videos, long may they continue to bring smiles to us all. :)
