They are trying to be like EG and run the wild comps. But they aren't good enough to run and experiment with those wild comps. It's crazy NGL
@@j-s-m the difference is, EG's comp has a clear defined purpose for every of it's agent. NRG's is like making wild comp for sake of being wild, i mean like it's clear that clove's aggressiveness is more of situational than by default as shown by FPX and EG. yet NRG tried to make clove like purpose-built entryfragger. they also use deadlock as sole sentinel when it's better to combo it with cypher/viper and that it only works in certain map like lotus.

@@SpinEnileC jawgemo made Deadlock look really good on Lotus and Icebox. He's played her a few times.... But in saying this again, they lack the skills mechanically and they just don't seem how to use them.
NRG pulled a SEN by subbing out a world champion class player but this time it didnt work as well
and when NRG was using demon1 they were using him just wrong, way to many first contacts for how he plays, raze on extremely low sensitivity aswell

This "everyone" are set of different group of people. The ones who loudly screaming they want Demon1 back are the ones who defended him back then when he's in the roster. The ones who scream Demon1 are the problem back then are in silence cause they've proven to be wrong.
Pretty sure they were hating because of Chet putting him on stupid roles.
I feel like if they just had cypher on both of those maps half of those kills at both beginnings would of been solved, every single round you would just see a player sneak in garage, or just stay window, or a player always lurking of a half committed site and end up in their spawn
You can tell they're running experimental comps. Deadlock and double smokes are not typical for these maps.

He did not practice his mechanics. Being a caller is fine, but you can't always lose duels on even footing like he does. At that point it's always a 4v5. Nowadays IGL's are also expected to hold their own.

@@darkse1ddi feel like meta doesnt even matter when they dont even understand their own comp. The first map cannot have 2 smokes and deadlock. They needed to either commit to the deadlock comp, have one smoke another sentinel or no senti, double smokes and double intiators. You cant just do what they did and expect it to work. Second map was just an outdated comp and not utilizing the gekko comp. Idk why they switched off of the gekko comp when it can literally work for them

They’re using Ethan the same way they always used yay. The problem is that Ethan isn’t as mechanically gifted and suited to the star of the team like yay was. So yes, demon1 is and always has been the solution. The problem rn is that they can’t sub crashies out even though Ethan is undeniably better because he’s a duo with victor 🤦♂️

Nah theres some serious ego in NRG right now. Victor / Crashies / s0m couldn't aim properly. FNS was just trash throughout. Ethan was the only one who actually shot back and won them some rounds. These guys need to play normal and not overcook. Wtf was that Haven comp lmao.
