Chucky was my introduction to horror and I love the original two films so much, anytime I see Andy or Kyle it makes me feel giddy and nostalgic. I grew up watching Child's play 1,2 & 3 however, the second part was one of the first horror movies that terrified me as a kid. Actually, my older brother used to scare me through Chucky, while seeing that film LOL.

I am a huge Horror Buff and Chucky gave me my first scare. 💀Actually it was the opening credit scene to child’s play 3 - my cousin left it in my grandmas vcr and I thought it was going to be a cartoon … it was not.. as the blood swirled into the plastic.. I ran out of the room screaming lol

As a kid, I had a crush on Kyle. Ever since, every time I'd see Christine anywhere else I'd always think "KYLE!" and swoon with the innocent infatuation I had so many years ago. Christine still looks foxy (especially with the glasses) but I still can't help but have a crush on Kyle. And of course, having grown up with and watched the Child's Play films more than twenty times for part one and over ten times for part two, I definitely love and look up to Andy, the most badass kid ever, if you ask me. I think for a lot of us, this franchise really does mean a lot, and I'm sure seeing Alex and Christine is just as special for everyone else.
Alex Vincent carries Child’s Play 2 wonderfully. Love his portrayal of Andy throughout the franchise, and I love Kyle and Christine Elise’s portrayal of her. But I really miss Karen Barclay and Mike Norris. Catherine really gives a powerhouse performance in that first movie. Never mind the groundbreaking FX or Dourif’s performance, both which have been praised abundantly over the years, and deservedly so. Catherine is award-worthy in that first film. The way she almost collapses when told of Aunt Maggie’s death is powerful. There is so much substance to that role. She makes me believe Chucky is alive just as much as Kevin Yagher and the puppeteers do. What is potentially being implied is Catherine doesn’t want to be involved, and it would be a shame if that were the case. I think her character, as well as Chris Sarandon’s, would be beyond fascinating to revisit all these decades later. Karen Barclay could’ve been the Laurie Strode of this franchise. I hope she’s open to her character getting the Halloween 2018 treatment. I don’t understand why she would do these horror conventions yet turn down returning. She wanted to come back for Child’s Play 2! Yes, that was over 30 years ago, but still. I want to know how did her time in the psychiatric institution affect her? How did Mike’s guilt over not siding with the Barclay family in court affect him? This is rich story material that’s begging to be mined. We know the characters would be around 70 and 80. We do not care. We do not care if they’re retired and not running around with weapons, destroying each and every Chucky. How old was Lin Shaye when she made the latest Insidious? How old was Harrison Ford when he was filming Indiana Jones 5? There is a “family shot” of Andy, Karen, and Mike at the end of the original. We need a new story thread to fulfill that promise. Let’s see these three in another shot together. Joanne promised Andy he’d see his mom again in the second one, and yes Andy has seen her since but the fans haven’t. Chucky also hasn’t fulfilled his promise to Mike yet, either. How powerful would that return be? I don’t see what the big deal would be. The Scream actors, Jurassic Park actors, and others had no problem returning. The fans want it, and hopefully the actors want it or have a change of heart.
Alex literlly saying how i saw chucky when i was like 5 or six was sitting in my hallway late at night while my mom was watching, the couch faced away from the hallway so she didnt know i was watching.
