It is not the case of engine passing a signal as you mentioned in the video...At some locations due to geographical constraint the track circuit is place at a distance from the signal post ...The fact is that the signal will not turn red until the train passes over that particular track circuit.As soon as the wheels touches the track circuit the signal becomes red and it signifies the line is occupied...Hope it will help ..

Our duty as a Indian is that to save the railway transport in respect of the best service is given by the lndian railway. It is the cheapest means for the transportation as well as for carrying the goods also.
The logic explained here is incorrect. Simple logic is, the automatic signals are programmed to turn red immediately indicating there is a train or an engine in the sector ahead till the next automatic signal. There is also an axle counter at the track level which precisely keeps the count of the number of axles which have crossed the particular signal. Unless the same number of axles cross the next signal the indication will continue to be red. This is to prevent any collisions in the event if a particular coach/es gets detached from the passing train.
Your logic is also correct but the logic explained in this video is also little bit correct because if the automatic signal behind in the previous section will be red until all 60 wagons of freight train crosses the next signal, then train behind have to wait unnecessarily, so as soon as the engine of the train clears the signal plus the overlap distance of 120/180 mars, previous signal becomes yellow, so train could at least starting moving.. for more detailed info.. check this video:- ruclips.net/video/N8iUDeNAOWM/видео.html
Your logic is absolutely correct and logic explained in video is a bit weak. Safety is more important. Till current train crosses next signal this red signal wont change to double yellow. And if signal remains green till 60 coaches pass there is a danger of the train that follows colliding with this train

Amit Bhai you should contact a signal staff of railway.. because of the information you have given is not proper .. I think you have not understand the track circuit properly.. the track circuit sensor is just near the signal pole .and as the first axel of locomotive crosses the senser . It make signal red ..

Bhai ek aur question hai. Maine dekha hai ki EMU train (local train) agar mahino ke liye bhi siding me khadi rahe to bhi uske pantograph down nahi kiye jaate, wo hamesha OHE se connect rehte hai. Iska reason bataiye please
