    I am doing medicine from reputed hospital PD Hinduja and trust me ,many of my friends who are in Paeds find Paed,as very discouraging branch since they really have to go mental trauma as their parents keep on nagging them .And in term of superscility in Paeds ,endocrinologist in medicine are suppose to see Paeds patient too .i mean there are hardly any seat .For neuro there is only one seat in Aiims ,that’s it .Pls dnt judge just giving the perscpective of paed by my Paeds colleague in Hinduja hospital .

      Hi, no, thanks. These were my views. Most people I know face a tough residency like your friends but in general have a great liking for Pediatrics.
      Superspecialisation is a different topic.
      For the current Gen - Pediatrics gives an option; both Adult and Pediatric DM.
      As far as few seats is concerned - when have seats not been few?

    • @DrAditya2935
      @DrAditya2935  2 года назад +4

      For Neuro- AIIMS conducts exams twice in a year with a total of 4 seats.
      PGI also - with similar number of seats.

    I hope pedia is end branch, there is no DM in pedia, yes, Neonatology is there, other than that, if any one does DM after MD pedia, he will no longer be pedia doc.
    Yes, fellowship available for additions.

    Sir I had watched your interview video with dams wherein you had mentioned about mental health. I seem to have been going through a similar phase for sometime now. Do you think you could give me some insight for building some mental strength and fighting this fear of failure?

    I love this branch but then I think, that it's not giving me as much money as I deserve for my hardwork so kindly clear the salary point

      If v look at the working hours in paeds ..the mental stress ..it's underpaid branch . But if on is passionate about this branch then it doens't matter . But someone aiming for high earning branch then paediatric is not the branch as earning curve is slow here

    Sir will doing md pediatrics from pvt college fetch me good results in the future considering I always wanted to do this or should I go for opthal/ent from govt setup? The only thing holding me back is the amount of money and debt that comes with it...

      The amount charged by Private is exorbitant. Better to avoid. Doing DNB from a government centre is more beneficial.
