Thanks for another awesome episode, love the Blackwood River, I have seen it in flood with 20mt trees coming through. The mouth changes every season. I always pack a jumper when visiting that neck of the woods

Great to see another tinny mish mate good vid👍, if your planning on getting a bigger boat just be careful not to go too big or you will loose the ability to do these missions. I recently upgraded my 4.3 meter quinny to a 7meter hard top, love the boat it’s great but I can’t do these types of trips anymore the boat is too big. Great for getting offshore though.
Kane mate i cannot say how much i appreciate this advice! Dont want to give this type of exploring up, you reckon a 5m? Would be ok?
I think a 5 meter would probably be the most you would want to go, but not something too heavy and not too much of a draft, a 5 meter tiller steer would probably be the best, in my opinion.
My 4.3 got me into depths of 300mm great for shallow water exploration. Also if you’re looking at a cool new place to do a tinny mish have a look at giralia station at the bottom of the Exmouth gulf, good for 4x4 and little tinnys in the creeks.

Yeah mate more deck for storage and lighter, incase you need to pull it of a bank after a big night and not remembering the to check the tides. Don’t get me wrong a steering wheel is great but to maximise your room, tiller is the way.
