High praise! To each and every performer of this score, which is no cakewalk! Even more impressive is how you found, and then *together* communicated some very uncommon emotive content. The kind of individual emotional spectrum that's intense, pent-up, hardly reconcilable. And: that seems to be incommunicable except by musical means. Many cheers! Mark
Agreed! This is a DUO. It's incredible to me that this still happens; the piece's title is Sonata for Cello and Piano. I've played the piano part -- it's not an accompaniment! (Even if it were, all performers should be listed.)
the pianist’s name is Chiao-Wen Cheng. she DEFINITELY deserves credit period! but esp for playing this beast of a part so masterfully!
What a beautiful pianist, beautiful music, fantastic playing Guy. Thank you in 2022.
Wonderful playing! Wonderful music! 👍👏👏💝
Wow I am blown away by Guy's tone and vibrato, let alone the interpretation. This is outstanding!
Thomas Neumaier the pianist, too!

Beautiful music and beautiful playing! However, not mentioning the pianist's name is a disgrace.
