As a new jersey native...... The Dillinger escape plan is one of my favorite bands ever, there's nobody like them. Greg was perfect for the role...... I fucking love the Dillinger escape plan
I saw them at a small secret show right after they opened for deftones and it was awesome. I had my arm around greg at one point screaming along with him. Never felt so engaged in a show.
On their Farewell tour at my homecitys local club. on the last song Greg was literally in my face and me and him were both screaming into the mic. Most engaging show ive ever been to as you said about yours. They were on top of us (crowdsurfing) nearly every single song! :0
I love that he said they'd sound bad from a distance. I think I love dep over other crazy, chaotic music, because their production is so tight. The muddier that kind of music gets, the more they lose me. You have to be able to listen intently to have any idea of what's going on. Thanks for giving me that dep!
I first saw them in France around 2001-2002 opening for SOAD and last time was in Dublin for the farewell tour...one of my all time favorite band. Thank you so much for all this music 🙏🙏🙏
since when have they gave a shit about going overboard? they should have released a double album and go out hard and strong even though they already did with dissociation. fuck ill miss these guys. they are the biggest inspiration for me and thousands of others
Nice to see both Converge and Daughters tees on that stage. Then you know you're in the right crowd. Looking so much forward to seeing DEP for the first and last time. Feb is gonna be crazy.
Just randomly clicked on this video while searching for Dillinger vocal videos and saw myself in the crowd! What an unforgettable experience that was at Cobra lounge
I agree with the small club vs festival atmosphere. As a music fan and as a performing musician, smaller venues are much more fun. Festivals can get the exposure you need as a band or solo artist but lacks in the intimacy department. Id rather have people a few feet away and see their faces and expressions while performing. Also, the fans seem to enjoy you more because you're one of few bands or artists that night versus a festival gig which could have days and days of bands and artists.
A Dillinger Escape Plan double album would feel like literal overkill. Speaking for myself, I don't think I'd be able to handle that much music from them.
i bet they'd take a day job over "re-uniting" again. Just seem like that kind of real deal band/art. - i dont think theyd do that to their fans, and it would hurt their legacy.
Dillinger will go down in history as metal legend.
They deserve it, but i think they won't :/ too underestimated
Metal and Punk legends
Thankyou. @@gokudgreat

Greg micstanded my friend in the face at a show. I am still very jealous

I agree with Greg. I like smaller venues. Security is annoying as fuck!
i wonder if we will ever hear those cut songs : (
Of course dude !! Don't worry
bud50cl no we won't...
Ben said that he absolutely wants to put them out at some point once the dust of the break up has some time to settle, so don't doubt it too much.
Great vocalist. He'll probably have a lot of problems with his hands/feet when he gets older, but everything has it's up- and downsides, right?
cant wait to see you in Atlanta bro!!
One of the best bands.
Best frontman in the last 15 years
No doubt there's nothing better than up and close with a band inside a venue. Can't always have that tho😐
Bet money they gonna put out another album. They already still playing shows and mini-tours after they had their "farewell tour"
i bet they'd take a day job over "re-uniting" again. Just seem like that kind of real deal band/art. - i dont think theyd do that to their fans, and it would hurt their legacy.
These guys are real AF
Damn it why didn't the release a double album!
