I've been a HH main since World, I even went back to GU. Holy hell I salute the FU hunting horn mains, actual fookin legends
Mhfu isn't very difficult even with horn it's whatever especially early on tbh
@@keithcunningham3131 In MHFU it's really monster dependent I feel like, more than with any other monster hunter game. This is the only MH game where I feel encouraged to have an arsenal of different weapon type to counterpick monsters. It's crazy how much easier it makes them. I don't feel like fighting Basarios, Gravios, and the Blos with anything other than a ranged weapon (or HH for the first two actually) as an exemple.
Some monsters are piss easy with HH and some are a nightmare in FU I'd say, usually good hammers matchup are good HH matchups (the raths, yian-garuga, hypnocatrice, narga among others ). So yeah aside from that, HH isn't hard to play at all in FU, it's just really tedious with how the song system is and I'm not nearly good enough at it to refresh songs while fighting in G-rank
Fun fact:MHFU's HH is actually got nerfed,MHF2's HH was much powerful
MHFU got nerfed after devs found out that players can abuse some exploits in MH2

I was the only HH player in FU I knew, it was that rare. The only weapon type where motion input was paramount

God this hits home, i used to horn when i first tired these games out and loved it but never understood how to use it properly, now i still use it every so often and this is the true solo hunting horn experience especially if you are not a veteran at the game 😅, thank you i love these videos

You can kill the yian by going to their lair just make sure you have shock trap to put to were it's land by using light bowgun you shot either its wing or head but to make it easier go to the high mount to were the yian can reach you and shoot him in the wings continue until it's down or you be humiliated again by the guild maiden...
Having using HH in the recent gens (P3rd, 4U, Gen/GU and Rise/Sunbreak), MHFU's HH feels so jarring to go back into. It's still a fun weapon though.
Yes, it's no powerhouse like the Hammer but it's still deals KO damage and the buffing notes it provides can potentially outdamage the Hammer.

As someone who made a full playthrough with every weapon lemme tell yah the trick to hunting horn. Don't play notes when fighting the monsters. Just make sure you have the faster movement speed active and your good to go. Its the bread and butter to this weapon and the biggest appeal. Otherwise treat playing notes like playing flute. Something you better do before the fight or out of danger in general.

Hunting horn only useful in multiplayer... I rather use hammer in solo.
Good luck trying to hit YKK in rage mode with that weapon.
