The tomboy in me absolutely loved this video!! It brings back soooo many memories when I use to race and go to different states with my boys. It wasn’t many women out there with us but I was literally one of the fellas to everyone lol.

This was one of the street race spots we used to hit when I was in high school back in ‘99-2000. I remember this one car with a civic hatch got beat in by a 3000 gt vr4.

Nice video but my boy lied in the very beginning talking bout Westcoast does it better than anybody in the country….I’m from the east coast the south & moved here to California 5 years ago & I tell you I was hoping when I moved here that the West coast would be doing it better than us on the east coast since California has the good weather but in reality California is like 100 steps behind the south when it comes to street racing & grudge racing….the east coast/ south puts it down weekly & the brothers bet major money….No disrespect to these guys in the West but all they do is get together & talk racing . If you don’t believe just do a search on RUclips for all those who never been to the South / east coast & you will see it’s literally no comparison….they even mention some videographers who shoot video of the grudge races on the east coast / south.
Completely agree I'm from Cali been out to the south Midwest Texas damm near every place to check out the way every one gets down. California I love you but it's way behind in damm near in every aspect street no prep grudge shootouts name it. Oh and the cars are not even close to being on par will leave it at that.
@@alainhernandez8767 facts, I don’t understand it because again the best weather is out here in the West, when we moved here 5 years ago I kept asking co workers & neighbors “ When do we get rain around here & Mofo’s said Oh are rainy season is November to February “ I was like WTF !!!!! What about the other months 😁 …..hopefully things change with the West Coast racing scene out here putting in some work so maybe they will encourage the racers out here to come out & race but being out here makes me realize just how crazy the boys are back home in the south…SHOOT they even run Promods back home all the time from Maryland all the way down to Florida & everywhere in between….multiple racetracks have there own Promod series & Quick 8 outlaw series….its very serious & them boys bet some unreal money weekly…..A lot of drug dealers back east because we don’t have dispensaries like out here in California.

Why is the City of Compton always associated with this type of activity? When illegal street racing, burnouts, and street takeovers occur, they leave the roads looking horrible. It always happens in "minority communities" This will never occur in affluent neighborhoods. I like "Grilling with AB" but now I will reconsider. There are so many people who were killed while street racing. You can do it LEGALLY at the Irwindale Raceway and many other legal tracks within LA County. Its called ILLEGAL. Set examples for the youth to follow. Cmon gents.
I’m totally with you on the takeover stuff . Street racers don’t go against the police and we don’t leave trash . You see the police don’t go hard on us because they know we reprect them . Growing up in the city this removed me from a lot of the negativity I grew up in .our tracks aren’t open enough out here that’s what we are fighting for . I been trying to rent a track for the last 5 years and they won’t let us through our events so what do you do ???
