Out coached or locatelli gave a pen away and then an og? All conceicao had to do was put many defending players in the box which is what they did… that’s not really getting out coached.
Sacking a manager became too easy. At the beginning of the season did anyone expect Juve to compete for the league when they had a complete overhaul of the squad? Their seasonal target is to make it into the top 4, and currently they are 3 points off that so why is there any questions about Motta’s work so far? Of course, they dropped points in games they shouldn’t have, but we knew that was going to happen when he came in because it’s a lot of young players and a whole new team- he’s not Conte so when you sign Motta you are not expecting an immediate Scudetto. Motta’s work should be judged on 3 things, 1) is the team meeting the seasonal objective? Juve is 3 points off the top 4 with a tons of injuries so I would say yes they are. 2) is the team playing well? More often than not yes they are and even yesterday (as a Milan fan) they could have won the game and it wouldn’t have been undeserved. 3) are the players improving? Besides Vlahovic who had his struggles (but also has a contract situation that’s going on) and Luiz who’s not settled yet, everyone else is playing pretty well. Koopmeiners may not be scoring as much as last season, but you can see there’s a quality player there. Locatelli played his best since joining Juve. Gatti and Kalulu been holding up the back line quite well. Yildiz Conceicao Mbangula and Savona are young players that he’s gave minutes too. For the second half of the season he has to find a way to get Nico Gonzalez and Douglas Luiz to get into the team as they spent a lot on him. But give him time, let the players come back from injury, and the team will improve
Conte is at his first year at Napoli and has a broken squad. He however does not need time. I also believe that Juve should not sack him but the results are not there.
@ No he’s a clown. Never objective. And when you’re never objective, it shows you lack intelligence. Antonio clearly lacks intelligence. It’s ok to be honest, like the other guys are, about for whom you cheer and the others for whom you don’t. And that’s the main reason he has no credibility.
Exactly so simple. Koopmeiners should NEVER play in the 10. The issue is also the transfers they need another real 10 in the transfer window there is five CDM/CM on this team
Is everyone dancing around the issue and that issue i locatelli, the guy gave away a free PK, Juve was busting their balls just for him to give away a free pen for a completely unnecessary tackle! The team felt drained after that, it had nothing to do with Motta and everything to do with locatelli. For real @IFTV Find me the stat of how many wins juve have compared to ties and losses with locatelli on the field, it is BAD. Locatelli plays great but makes one catastrophic mistake to throw the entire match. Still waiting for the fans to see this reality that locatelli is to blame for many games. Vlahovic isn't worth the price tag too but really the issue against milan was locatelli throwing the entire match for his team.
I love when you guys talk about italian coaches and as a Croatian, I would love to hear what you guys think about the current situation in croatian football, being Gattuso appointed as the coach of Hajduk Split and Canavaro being appointed as the coach of Dinamo. also he is a solid player but 25 million max juventus just made a mistake spending how much they spent on him... Pasalic, Samardzic, Brescianini etc are scoring for Atalanta maybe not as much as Koopeminers did but its clear that he fit into atalanta system well and now that there is no more that system he is struggling
Gotta give motta more time. He’s had injuries and bad luck honestly. He at least acknowledges the fact that juve has to score the second goal and close the game.. Allegri was fine with 1-0 and sit back
Juve is suffering not only on the pitch but everything. Management, injuries, mindset, etc. I can’t blame Motta when his players keep making silly mistakes and missing easy chances. I genuinely believe this window it would be smart to trade vlahovic and bring in two strikers and defenders.
Juve corporate culture and environment is not ideal for Thiago , he is a revolutionary and a visionare they totally cut his wings and grounded him. There is no playful Joy like we saw at Bologna . No chance for him to succeed. Juve needs a corporate general . And by the way Giuntoli also to many guidelines he will not be successful
Enough with the Vlahovic forgiveness ffs - he's not good enough simple as that - his job is to score goals. Doesn't matter the system, coach, position etc... when you CONSISTENTLY miss sitters and are the highest paid player in Serie A, it's not good enough. 3 seasons and has shown nothing to justify his price tag. This is before even discussing his technical ability, all you have to do is watch the game and you'll get the answer - horrendous.
Saying a coach should be fired who is undefeated in the league. Losing his best defender and having numerous injuries on top of all that having the youngest average age in the league is insane. Juve fans are so spoiled. Its supposed to be year 1. It took inter and milan 10 years to win the league and our fans treat it as a God given right
So what you're saying is Juventus, the most successful club in Italy, should follow the example of Inter and Milan, who each have 19 less Serie A titles than Juve (that's exactly half the titles btw); and wait 10 years to win another title? The reason why those other clubs are inferior is because they had this mentality of yours; if Juve wants to win again, it should follow its own example and not be patient with underperforming managers. Period.
@nikgarus3709 this is short sightedness at its finest. Juve have needed a rebuild under a new manger with new ideas for several years. Motta has made strange decisions at times but he can't go out there and play the game himself. He can't control cambiaso making multiple errors or gatti inability to read danger or locatelli unable look freaking behind him. I can see what Motta wants to do never saw it under pirlo allegri 2nd stint or sarri.
@@angelrosado3011 That shortsightedness is actually a winning mentality. People somehow think that by simply waiting a winning dynasty will be suddenly created. While I'm obviously very frustrated with how its gone so far, we have to back Motta and this project due to the lack of other options.
Should have never hired him. There’s nothing in his resume that indicates he was ready for a club like Juve - especially heading into a season with 5 competitions. We’re out of Super Coppa, -9 in Serie A, -11 from this point last season, & can’t close out matches or score regularly.
He shouldn’t be sacked yet, but things need to change asap on multiple fronts. The team still needs more time. Let’s see where things stand come the end of the season.
