In Highschool I took an AP psych class and had the coolest teacher who had us doing all types of trips and experiments. However, we were the last class able to do them because of parental complaints and other teacher complaints. Primarily the other teachers were upset over the experiment he had us do which was to stay up for 3nights straight and log our experience. I guess some classmates were falling asleep in other classes and doing poorly on tests. But that was sort of the point. We also took trips to our state penitentiary for both men and women. However, the day we went to the male pen there was a stabbing incident right before we arrived, and so it wasn’t the full experience. It was still scary as they had us dress down upon arrival and take off all jewelry etc… and as we walked down the corridor they were catcalling us through the bars and this loud blaring alarm came on followed by a series of clicks and the guard told us it was “feeding time.” It was such a wild experience honestly. Made me terrified to never get in trouble. We also were nearby the now closed prison that had the countries worst prison riot.
